well i texted him afterwards and he said his car was not any faster until her got home he said it was faster so i dont know cos i got stuck in traffic on my way home but i honestly cant feel any difference there was another guy there getting his silver fabia done he is from this forum as well but i did not get his name lol

Difference should be startling - Like before when you booted a gear and it just "went", now it should spin up and shove you back in your seat.

Sounds to me like the car needs looking at. A good custom map should take 2 or 3 hours to setup right - and this will give the best results, and also give the best long term reliability. I think mine was tuned on the road for about 8 hours. He said he used a whole tank of diesel during this time...

sweet mother of god what the hell is wrong with some of you i was just asking opinions and explaining my expereince on saturday? why is that wrong? i am not whining just wanting to know some facts because i have only owned the car two weeks and thought i would ask you guys seeing as you are the experts? or is that wrong??? i have found out some very good info i.e it really should not have lasted 20 mins for a good map see my other posts on here i asked everyones opinion on jbs and angel tuning before i went and most of you said they were both as good as each other !!!

Custom Code is NOT a custom remap it is a brand name for a generic remap.

You should still notice a difference from a standard fabia, and yes you should probably overtake a standard fabia.

It won't be like you can just pass them as is they were in reverse, but you will have the edge.

Oh and lay off with the personal abuse, you will find that it is against the forum rules.

Just to clear up a few things:

Custom Code Phase 1 is a generic map, it's not sold as a custom map, as Nick has already said, Custom Code is just a brand name.

JBS remapped 13 cars (mostly seats) on Saturday, all the posts on SCN are positive.

Take the car back to JBS and let them sort it or get a refund, it's not like they haven't offered. TBH I find it strange you didn't take it for a test drive straight away, you could have told them on the day then. Most people can't wait to get out and try it.

You should definitely be able to tell the difference going from standard to remapped, if you can't then as others have said something is wrong.

Custom Code is a good product in my experience and they have plenty of dealers; at least one of whom is a sponsor of this site.

Any generic Fabia VRS remap should be night to day different to the standard car.

It should improve pulling power throughout the rev range. It should rev far more happily through 3K rpm towards 4K. It should to all of these things faster/better than before.

If it's doing none of them, then either the remap hasn't taken for some reason or there's a problem with your car.

Nothing is wrong except perhaps your defensive and reactive attitude.

You asked, you got opinions. The general opinion from a few people who know quite a big about remapping is that you won't notice a "Monster difference" infact the best remap will be nice and smooth. You have said you haven't had much of a run in it, perhaps you should give it a good go before you start fussing over a few BHP. CC have a good rep and they should sort out any issues you have.

I have the Moon on a stick if you want it. Ill let you have it for nothing, you will just need to come and pick it up...
