Big Disapointment Jbs Custom Code!!!

Featured Replies

my god another long winded thread and to be honest quite pointless untill JBS has had a look at it.

It could be a simple mistake or any number of things We all don't know.

As for the time it takes to Mapp a car 10 min to an hour should be more than enough for a custom mapp on a fabia.

I mean Jbs and all the other reputable tuners have already spent the time on many thousands on VW cars so all the programing needed has been done many times before so custom really is the norm unless you fitted somthing weired and wonderfull that they have never tried before, then they would need more time to plot it or write a specific program for it.

Go to JBS and let us know its the only way

hi everyone sorry for the late reply as my father was admitted to hospital last night so i could not post anyway went back to jbs last night as they kindley offered to have a look at it...they did the map completely again and went for a test drive etc etc...i then went to ikea from chesterfield and almost instantly i could feel a massive difference the car is simply awww inspiring it oulls like a beast in every gear and the speed in fourth is simply unbelievable i am truly imprssed and happpy.....i have asked jbs to give me a rolling road day so that it can be prooven the cars output of 170 - 175bhp i am waiting for there reply. I have had another drive aginst my friends standard vrs and lets put it softly i beat him very easily and could overtake in every gear the difference is that noticeble..the question of course is why did this not happen on saturday? i recorded 200 miles from saturday to monday and di not notice any difference what so ever but instantly on monday after a fresh install the power was there straight away??? not sure on that one but non the less i am very happy at jbs sorting me out and kindly looking at her again so quickly i hope to get her on the following road very soon and continue to use jbs in the future :):):):)

cheers everyone most appreciated just waiting for jbs to come back to me with a date for a rolling orad just to see what she is now pushing out

Nice one ****. Oops. sorry, Des. :D :D

Glad it turned out to be nothing serious too.

Oh well, £200 is better than I managed for a remap. :(

I think it must have just been the stress/pressure of coding so many cars at once. So much to do, so little time etc. Still, at least you have a CC dealer behind you, to help with any little issues or tweaks you might want.

Now you just need to budget for springs/dampers or coilovers... Jabba or Whiteline ARB...

Though my personal best buy so far is the Fabia boot netting system. Not lost a bottle of oil, washing liquid or beer since fitting it. very closely followed by Cruise Control.

Just a little sad that this company got two days of slagging, before being able to offer a solution or defend themselves on a world wide site :-(

Do they offer a world wide service?

Did your insurance increase by much?

I'm not sure why they aren't a site sponsor considering they only deal with VAG cars. I'm sure they would have made a fortune officially advertised their 2-4-1 deal on here.

Yes, JBS is Custom-Code HQ and they have dealers in the UK, US, Australia, India, Singapore, South Africa and probably more.

They used to be but the management of Briskoda and JBS/C-C don't get on unfortunately.

the bbq was aweful but a nice tough ha ha

It would have been worse if I was cooking:D At least I didn't end up with any toilet scares:rofl: Going down sat to the VW/Audi day. Would love to see that MK2 Golf with the R32 engine transplant with the whooping supercharger strapped to it on the rollers!!

He was there during the Skoda/Seat day. Think he said he would be there this Saturday.
