this is bengie's car(or one of them)

it does have a turbo a four wheel drive though!

and i would have beat it if it had been driven by somone who was bothered about driving home:rofl:

I found this site last night when I was trying to find out what's gone wrong with my lovely Fabia. A broken car isn't a good advert but there you go.

Last night as I was about to embark on an evening of unbridled entertainment and debauchery, all the warning lights came on and the car seized up about 100 metres from home. Some kindly neighbours pushed it back home. I called Europ Assistance but they can't do anything except tow me to a garage and there are no garages open today.

The same thing happened about a year ago but when the AA arrived the problem had gone, and the mechanic said it was 'just one of those things'. I was hoping the same would happen this time but alas the car's still not working today.

Dammit.

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Please excuse the virtual leg humping you will get from a lot of the male members f the forum. Having a female join is a rare thing and they can get a little over excited... Bless

 Don't listen to her... she just feels left out cos her leg doesn't get humped anymore!!

It's just tradition... a lot more males than females on here ;)

Thanks for that. Wish mine would move like that. I do try my best to get the back end out on certain islands but they are few and far between. ;)

I'm not sure my little girl has ever beaten anything. *sighs*

Time to dream now.

Hope you are able to get this sorted... I'm new to Skodas full stop so I have no idea what the problem could be. Please keep us posted on how it goes and what the problem was when you get it sorted.

o my word. :P interesting thread this... ;)

Ello n welcome.

Skoda's are crap. end of.

If you're comparing them to a Bentley.

otherwise, I cant say they bad - my vRS Octavia is probably the best built car i've owned (the worst - my last Sierra Cosworth lol).

anyway, I'm sure after you've spent some time meandering around here, your appreciation of Skoda's will be improved, however, your appreciation for Skoda owners may not :)

Ah, you be from them there dark Midlands - the area that brought us British Leyland. enough said ;)

Thanks for the welcome and comments Angry Dog.

Even Bentleys have had problems in the past, so I may have to concede that Skodas aren't all bad.

As for British Layland - the only good thing to be said abut it was all the jobs it provided for the area.

Been informed by one of my friends that they are looking for a Fabia..... So I now need to drag them round here to introduce them to this site :) and then I may get taken for a drive when they get one.

So far my appreciation for the Skoda owners on here is tepid...and that's only cos of the warm welcomes I have received. I don't see me returning to cold anytime soon.

You're welcome :)

Oh for sure Bentleys have issues - they are after all part of the VW / Audi Group! But I'd still prefer a Bentley lol.

I agree about BL, but then with them closing, it is also responsible for alot of job losses :( but we digress.

I don't understand your tepid sentence - in one breath you say we have warmly welcomed you, but then you say we're a tepid bunch, which means we've only half heartidly welcomed you, with no warmth? Is it like getting a C Grade - must do better?

Im sure your friend will find the right Fabia for them, as I found the right Octavia for me  and instead of going for a drive in one, why not test drive it yourself and then get a feel for the car, rather than an "outside" view?

You should really go for a spin in an Octavia vRS - I'm sure you would like them
