Hello everyone,

Have been guided here by lfc958's (Steve?) other half, Kathy, who owns a Smart car like ourselves and is a member of thesmartclub. I was spotted by Steve on my way to Dover a few weeks back in the

'mad yellow smart that "must have been chipped, had to do 90 to catch up!"':P

Kathy posted our sighting on thesmartclub messageboard and I mentioned we also have an Octavia so she pointed us in this direction.

Our main car is a 2002 Skoda Octavia vRS - also in yellow! It is our third Octavia, the previous cars being a 2000 SLXi Turbo and a 2001 Elegance TDi. Unfortunately a change in work circumstances required us to give up the latter but now we finally have the ultimate Octavia!

If I'd known about it I would have loved to come along to the Malta meet last Friday but will hopefully catch up at the next one - shifts permitting

AT the Malta, not In Malta.

The Malta Inn is where we held our Southern meet outside Maidstone.

Its a fine establishment on the river Medway, just by Allington Lock.

It is frequented by people of all ages, but evenings tend to be those of the younger years with young ladies who appear to have a desire to go out semi naked....no smily here then

hadn't noticed much Smart dissing going on here - yet! Did you know the smart has a better 30 - 50 time than a BMW 325i :eek:
