Help required to convert the narrow minded.....

Featured Replies

Lol at the "just cos they bolted a turbo on to a Skoda" comment.... Just cos they put a big engine in a Clio, they think they're elite ;)

Chris

Hmm. Think I might put a post up. :D

What about a Golf GTI TDI?

Hmm...well, I suppose they are the same price...:D

Rob.

I give up with them, that is the narrow mindedness you endure when you post on that site.

One word springs to mind.

as a "W" at the start an "s" on the end and has an "anker" in the middle.

Have a look now. Rob Fenn is a fecking knob jockey.

172/182 do handle well, they are designed to.

VAG have invested heavily in the proud company of Skoda, if we had not had WWII things would be different.

FabiavRS was built for WRC rules, not as an out and out handling beast (we all agree this was a missed opportunity I think).

Tune either and you'll get a dam fine car, take Citroen, 5 years ago laughable (ZX excluded maybe, but some of BX's were quick as half the car was plastic (bonnet + tail)) Now they are leading WRC team...

The odd thing, I know a really well driven 172 had a equalyl well driven 106 rallye stick to it.

I've followed a well driven lupo GTI in a 4x4 on stock suspension, the lupo in turn keeping pasce with an elise. Later on the same day I kept in check easily with a clio wililam renault, could not of passed him, but kept with him.

But as we all know road driving there are to many variables. So yes they would kill me and themselves but who'd get to hell faster?

Having seen Jon in my mirrors round brunters there is nothing wrong with that pd130 tuned, of course Jon's driving skill helps, but torque out of the bends my god, it's tempting..I'll wait for the PD200 first ;)

Hehe I have lit the blue touch paper in there, what a bunch of kids LOL

They're just p!&sed off that their 172/182's don't produce that much BHP and to get anywhere near 200Bhp they would need to spend

Just looks like a posh metro for old folk

Guys :smrbow:

Why bother to try and convert the ' narrow minded ' thier views are stuck in a WW 1 trench, if they are resorting to swear words ( :cussing: ) then they have no reasonable arguements, and are not listening to anything that is being said to them.

You will not get through to them.
