Yeah well Xavier' date='we 'tiddler drivers' have to defend ourselves against all these bloody :goldfish: wannabe piranahs.

As someone said somewhere on here earlier, the tavia mob just seem to have a bit of a complex thing, seeing us 'toycarboys' as nuisances

Think there is a bit of jelousy too, only I wouldn't say it publicly,'cus ours are more nimble than theirs! ;)

And as for captain pugwash in HMS Kentish :boat: ,well what does he know about either the fabtastic or octy, sailing 'round in his 4 wheeled bathtub!!

:owl: C.J.[/quote']

:hilarius:

Ahh, wiping the tears off my face as we speak...

Maybe we could offer captain pugwash a ride in a submarine-width "toycar" for comparison. In all honesty, I wouldn't mind a ride in HMS Kentish too :)

Kentish do you go down on your ship :naughty: , sorry I mean do you go down with the ship ?

And you say me and Alex are :gay:

has anyone thought of actually pitching a modded furby against a modded 'tavia - surely then there would be no more bleedin' arguing !! it seems that this forum has a decent amount of track time behind it - has this not already been done??? no good looking at quoted figures or listening to opinions of owners of the different models - they'll always be biased - get 'em on the track is what i say !

get 'em on the track is what i say !

But that would only prove which one is better round a specific track. And you'd need to use the same driver for each.

And most Furby mods seem to comprise big wheels, new grilles and Lexus style rear clusters, so I don't really see how they'd improve it on a track...

Rob.

nah - i mean proper mods like suspension/braces and re-mapping etc (probably the only things that are needed on the furby). surely you'd agree that it's the only way to settle this (could use an independent driver?). i point to the 5th gear episode with tiff- it hasn't half shut up a load of mini cooper owners! :)

hehehehe as opposed to the fluffy dice, neon washer jets, nodding dog and the Tracy and Dave sun strip as preferred by the Occy owners

Are you asking me or Mrs Kentish??

Well, I started this mammoth thread (I only said hello!), so I feel the need to carry it on by telling you all that I have put some photos up on my gallery.

If you like gazing at silver Octys go and have a look.

Is there a record for thread length? ;)

Anyway, after 4 days of ownership I am over the 'should I spend all this money on a car I don't really need' problem and am settling down into ownership.

Observations so far:

Good points :

It's quick! :D

Making it whistle all the time is addictive, and I will end up in trouble... :D

Handles great (best on smooth roads though).

Cudos (word is spreading)

Bad points :

Front end wallows a bit at high speed on undulating roads. (That'll be the excuse for new shocks then). ;)

Noisy idle (injectors?).

Hatch rattles on the excuse for roads round 'ere.

No alarm (I can't sleep). :(

I will definately end up in trouble..... :D

Overall :

It was worth every penny!
