Nasty spike though.. lol

That was a blatant example, It is a Hot hatch as it is the Sporty / hot version of the plain one.

That is what a hot hatch is

no, the ST is the sporty Fiesta

no, the ST is the sporty Fiesta

I was referring to the older Fiesta, W reg to 02

The W reg to 02 Zetec-S isn't fast though.

When a TDI family hatchback can beat one without trying too hard with the ZSOC guy reving the nuts off it it just isn't fast.

A hot hatch should annihilate an octy TDI

I just researched the dyno you used. It's "custom made".

Just for reference, I made one too, and measured my torque at 11tybillion foot pounds, with a nasty spike too. It's now the most accurate dyno in the country, as I calibrated it with my "custom made" dynomometer calibration tool.

I'm sorry, but there is no way on this earth ever, that you have 170+ bhp, and 340+ ft lbs.... with just a map. No way. This is off topic, for which I apologise, but I simply won't wear it.

Out of interest you graph shoes a ratio what is that for and was the RR set up specifically for a derv?

350lbft from a 1.9 TDI seems, erm quite high

F**king classic Dave, nice find ;)

FPMSL @ Shifty's rollers.

Are you planning a 4wd version too? :D

Chris

That spike might indicate why your last clutch didn't last very long!

Chris

You asked for a graph and you got it.

A dyno is a dyno, not one is going to be spot on, i wasnt preaching that it was correct either as it most likely isn't. I wanted to know if it was mapped or not and turns out it is. So im happy.

I will get it rr'd at another rolling road and compare results but at the minute im happy in the knowledge it is not standard

I am going from what i have.

Yes. Im waiting for "parts". Oddly they will arrive with some other sundries (scampi, peas, special (;)) batter) on friday morning. Im hoping to get it set up for a RR day on Sat. Ill post pics obviously.

It is a star performance map so a reputable map is on it! also i was told the spike and unusually high torque value could indicate slight wheelspin

Set up as follows.

The power runs shown below are flywheel horsepower, a 20% factor has been added to the wheel horsepower figures measured by the dyno to compensate for transmission losses. The actual transmission losses will vary by a few percent from car to car, but given that standard cars ran standard power on the day it's a pretty good approximation.

Was my first rr and i know nothing about them neither do i pretend to:thumbup:

Getting a bit Offtopic now guys... behave!

That explains a bit. Sorry Colin.

What should it be then?

I just spat my drink out at that screen seeing that graph
