It is not economic to fit a 7 pin electrics, fit 13 pin, better resale possibility and can be dumbed down to 7 with an adapter The car electrics will recognise 13 pin as it is todays standard.

I think it is a slightly longer wheelbase, certainly the body work is longer but with correct tyre pressures and proper reading of the road conditions, even with my heavy right foot I had never provoked more than a twitch.

My milage is quite modest nowadays so I use e5 but on a run I do get an extra few miles ( 3-5) per gallon. I think the space is for a warning triangle. It needs to be measured as most 3rd party triangles are too big. Regarding the bags mine went "floppy" and stuff started to spill out. These engines are designed to run on the oils as laid out in the instruction manuals for your region, with the car as flat and level as possible check the oil level, cold as per the manual. The really clever folk can now diagnose knowing the basics are satisfied. Good Luck.

Going to work one morning early, in heavy rain, i took a corner at 25-30mph and hit a tempory lake! In many years of driving this road it was normally dry what ever the weather, so the car surfed across the deepest part until the wheels found traction at the crown of the road. without the engine compartment pan I could have ended up very wet. My phone connected, hooray! Download, downloaded, hooray! Two unwanted Phones in the menu, STILL there. I resorted to you-tube but the Skodas there had different infotainment set ups.

Check the tension in the bulb contacts, sometimes these make poor contact.

The car I have now was factory fitted with towbar electrics from new, no towbar as it needs a new rear skirt made specially. Hence the price.

I thought the go to jacking pad was the ice hockey puck, I used them on my caravans (and let them go when I sold the 'vans)
