  1. I got in touch with my dealer and it is booked in for the end of July. Software glitch they say and have updated software from Skoda to fix it.
  2. Don't put your address on the advert, the finder might pop round to see if the key works!🤔
  3. I added more MP3 files to my 32gb stick and they would no longer play, I unplugged and reconnected still nothing then on trying the reconnection again it fired up and plays a treat. This usb stick has a thin blue strip in the port where the usual usb 3 has a thick blue section

  5. One of the best pieces of advice I had with fuel was never run it to empty it disturbs the "sentiment" (sediment) in the fuel tank. Good advice considering the cost and bother of blocked line filters.
  6. I used to use a tank of the Premium fuel on my Ford Focus, every couple of "ordinary" the difference made it (to me) worth using it all the time.
  7. I just use my phone and Waze, AA seems to connect fine.

  9. I had a Micra rear ended the insurance took it away. I had personal stuff in it so I jumped the gun and asked for an independant assessor. They laughed and sent a car to pick me up and take me to the holding area where I was told to take anything I wanted, So I did, I also had a payment for a full tank of fuel!
  10. I was ghosting through some country lanes, when my reverie was disturbed by something coming up fast behind. I think it was a renault 5, definite turbo noise as they lifted off the accelerator, suddenly it was behind me feinting at my boot lid. I goosed the Monte (safety in mind) and left it behind only to have it catch up and start again. I must admit I liked the sound and found myself thinking about sporty noises 😁😁
  11. Now you tell me 😄😄
  12. I have ordered a stainless steel pen thermometer, about £5 from Amazon.
  13. 1600+ miles and in the recent humid weather the aircon was cool but not cold, is this a return to dealer job? It is not like the stone through the aircon rad. where it completely disappeared! it just does not seem cold.
  14. It would help if you stated which Skoda model you have and whether a tow ball is fitted 😉 Just a couple I googled; https://www.whatcar.com/news/best-bike-racks-2022/n23284 https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/cycling/1409063/best-bike-racks-for-cars
  15. I had some problems with cables, it was recommended to me that ANKER were very good in the firm connection stakes. The 'C' port ones that I subsequently bought are the firmest so far.

I have just had an Error SOS, luckily returning from a journey and a couple of cars lengths from my home. I have left it and now there is no message and a steady green light by the SOS button.
  17. I know I used to fold them in when I caravanned and had the extra towing mirrors fitted (Yeti) My current caris a Kamiq Monte Carlo
  18. Left just after the little yellow idol to the north of Kathmandu. I know it well.
  19. Where can I download a manual from, please.
  20. I did it online, but same sytem as previous post above.
  21. I don't have paddles the dsg has D, S, and Manual selection the kick down works beautifully, who needs something else to go wrong? Although Clarkson has a liking for them as I remember 😀.
  22. Just curiosity, drivers were told by DOT that they don't have to signal all the time on the motorway. Do you use your indicator when overtaking? this should perhaps have an input to the ACC.
  23. There is no instruction book unless you can up/download one.Besides I am too old to devote myself to learning an instruction book anyhow, matey. As wih my quality air guns I just fuel the toad-mobile and squeeze the trigger and off I go to have as much fun as I can squeeze out of a gallon.
