I think the mirror glass is convex and gives a large field of view on the Milenco. Amazon; search; Blindspot Mirrors lots of convex stick on button mirrors

I seem to remember a very good "how to hardwire a dash cam" in particular photos showing the routing of the live (red in this case) wire behind the fuse box and the reason this may be applicable to other skoda types. *P.S. If you search from Google into Briskoda you quite often get a better result for your query!

I used the larger milenco towing mirrors on my Yetiis and had no problem when I had to fold them and in 12 years of towing never had them interferred with when parked with them folded in. If I buy them I will let you know, most sellers will let you return them especially if you buy locally (Halfords for instance) There are other overtaker mirrors around, it's just a case of finding them.

I was thinking about the nice Milenco mirrors I used on the Yetiis when towing the caravan and I had a feeling they did an overtaker mirror, so I looked and sure enough .....

Not HGV but I was taking truck mixers to be weighed as an apprentice (no car licence either, long story!) I drove a lot of different ehicle types after I passed my car test.

As olderman says I always (ex motorcyclist) look over the appropriate shoulder, as well as checking my mirrors, before any change of direction. Look, Signal, Look, Maneuver, A routine ommited by most of todays drivers. The sports seats do obscure my view but I still look over my shoulder.

Is it just me or are the Kamiq mirrors a little too small? has anyone added overtaker mirrors or non electronic solutions. I find the big seat headrests reduce the passenger side view.

I love the 1.5 and DSG, someone called it "waft drive" and this fits its modus operandi. I believe the accelerator can be made to react more slowly for those with a nervous disposition or heavy right foot, personally I love it, I'm not a wheel spinner but love the way it moves when you need it to and wafts along when you don't.

I have a small rectangular blanking plate, at the base of the centre console ..... No usb sockets!

Different car but I had the alarm going on intermittently while caravanning, it turned out to be the bonnet alarm switch. It had cracked and gradually broken completely, the process of breaking up caused the random alarms.

Replacement cable arrived, fitted easily, including concealing the cable. As far as I can see everything is now working as it should.

I was confused by their rear facing camera somewhere I read that some are self powered i.e. they don't need a cable.

Is it in and working ? if not please let me know what happens.

I got a very terse " we don't supply OBD cables" in response to an enquiry to Nextbase regarding using my 312GW. One thing I did pick up from their website was a firmware update for my dash cam, it was two versions behind, I needed another micro SD card to download the update but it took just a few minutes to update. So make sure your firmware is up to date.

Thank you, the reason I asked is because my ODB threw a wobbly and I have to send it back. The 312GW Nextbase is very good!

Which dashcam do you have, please. I'm using a Next Base 312GW
