With regards to above OBD11 post the vrs is set to the sportier throttle response as standard. What you need is a pedal box. I.e from race chip that allows you to plug and play increase the responsiveness of the throttle pedal. Makes a night and day difference and brings the car alive in all modes

Got into the car this morning and infotainment indicated there was a OTA software update available as follows. Anyone know what the extra features are? Car updated in less than 1.5 hours whilst at gym so not sure exactly how large this update is Thanks

It is an extension to the full standard 3 year warranty with the same terms and conditions/small print etc with regards to servicing/parts used etc

If you have the media tile on your main screen hit it to quickly alternate between last two sources ie radio and media. That’s how I quickly get to wireless android auto.

I got firmware updated to 1896 when dealer was doing the engine cover recall. Does seem a bit sharper and noticed the 'Service Campaigns' option. I can't recall seeing before on the main menu tiles as per attached pic

Any more details on the exhaust , who makes it etc and would you have sound clips? Cheers

If it feels almost like a notch or light thump it could be the diff, only noticeable at low speeds at full or close to full lock

Petrol or diesel? Last time I had what you describe it turned out to be a bulge on the sidewall of the tyre on inside.

Dealership told me no when I was ordering my bars for mk4 hatch as the mk3 versions were considerably cheaper

Folks thought I'd share this for those of you that have had numerous issues with MK4. To put in context I bought new VRS tsi Mk4 in Dec 2020 and its been into dealers 5 times for few minor issues then most of the firmware issues discussed alot on here. I raised a complaint with Skoda UK and after fighting back and forth managed to get .. £500 in dealership spend up from their initial offer of £200 and more importantly full Skoda Warranty extended from 3 to 5 years. I couldn't put this up here until I had it all in writing but they can do it when pushed. The Warranty is extended 30 days prior to the 3 year warranty ending. Was worth the few phone calls and emails for me

The Skoda bars are Thule items. I have them and they are Thule branded underneath so they’re not some cheap brand

I used superskoda and got genuine rubber mats, mudflaps and the dual sided boot liner posted to my door for cheaper than the local stealer wanted for mats and mudflaps

Car went in for her first service. Dealer agreed that the amount of rattling from the back /boot area was excessive and agreed to order replacement boot dampeners. Arrived today and I fitted them however they're the exact same part number. Haven't road tested as yet but does anyone know what the most recent part no for these are as I know its a recognised problem Thanks

My 245 vrs idles at around 900rpm in normal and around 1100rpm in sport

Keep us posted with pics. I also found and ordered after some digging these oem looking stick on paddle extensions. I will report back when they arrive

My VRS went into dealership for 2 days for alot of updates and I think they may have changed control unit for the infotainment system. I now have wireless android auto running along with a dramatic improvement in response time, some new shortcuts in the 'set' hotkey , my phone auto connects and the climate control remains on sync when selected. Hopefully this sorts all the software issues I was having such as PDC, airbag errors etc. Dealership told me only released last week or two but you'll only get it if you're having ongoing issues. I've attached the latest software for info Top is update from August and bottom is what I'm told to be the latest

I don’t have it on mine and don’t miss it either however my annual mileage has dropped from 15k to 6k so this had an influence. I do feel the suspension could be a little firmer when really pushing on but this is very seldom
