  1. I'm not fussed on seeing those markings to be honest as the dash shows when changed and as I'm sure you can appreciate you quickly get accustomed to where you are with regards to selection
  2. Not as yet, have you a link at all to the Facebook page? Thanks
  3. Brakes on my VRS dsg are superb I have to say
  4. Try pulling fuse for infotainment for a hard reset
  5. I have noticed over the last few weeks in particular the spoiler on my 6 month old vrs hatch seems to be coming away from the bootlid at the corners. Anyone else had this problem and had dealer visit as yet? I'm going to book her in for firmware updates and get them to look at it. I hope not to get "it's your cleaning products etc" causing the issue as I only use Meguiars etc and nothing as strong as said dealers would normally use. Thanks
  6. Thanks for info, any pics of these fitted?
  7. You must share a pic or two if you have of the motor against the glorious Scotland backdrop
  8. I’m also having the issue , I can’t see any adjustment in these and they appear to fit only one way can you explain how you’ve adjusted them please. Thanks
  9. Tried fuse removal as suggested and unfortunately hasn't worked for me.
  10. Well I'm still having the odd minor software bug but thought I'd offer some praise for the mk4 vrs as I know the forum is browsed by prospective buyers and it certainly isn't all bad. I'm now just short of 3k miles and enjoyed a spirited drive this evening in sports mode and I must say the vrs tsi is a peach of a motor. Having driven most of the hot hatches on the market I can also say it feels stronger than 245bhp. TCS off and you can feel the diff doing its best however do think it's limited somewhat by the factory supplied tyres. I will be going Michelin Ps4 when the time comes to replace. Anyway I'm very impressed with her and the dsg box. I can do the routine boring commute and take the kids out in comfort and safety but also exploit the chassis and power train when alone in a progressive and more importantly safe manner. Enjoy these cars folks . I'm lucky to be able to own one
  11. I have the rattle from the rear nearside somewhere and also noticed the seat. Was small increments but I marked with masking tape and could see it over a week or two moving
  12. Seen that, it will work with vrs wheel but I will wait for aftermarket or price to come down a bit
  13. Into my 4 month old 2.5k mile dsg vrs this morning and hit the start button and starter motor went for around 10 seconds before engine fired with an error warning for the start/stop system. Was going to work so continued on my journey which is only 8 odd miles and around halfway in a new error for drive system error and into limp mode. Managed to pull in. Checked all fluids and everything seemed normal. Restarted car and everything back to normal and faults cleared from display. Will have to book dealer visit. Hopefully just a hiccup and not the start of anything more serious. Car is always driven sensibly and brought up to temp. I can put up with the odd software bugs in infotainment but don't want these sorts of problems .
  14. It’s a new turbo and no longer the IHI unit. Apr amongst others are working on new parts including the muffler delete .
  15. I bought the car from a skoda dealer about 40 miles from me as they could do the most competitive deal. However my local skoda dealer is only 2 miles away hence I go to them for servicing and warranty etc. They were even good enough to give me the new parts to fit myself as couldn't get booked in for a while due to covid.
  16. My kick plate was similar and my sunglasses holder wouldn’t stay in the up position when trying to close. Both were looked at quickly, pictures taken and sent to Skoda with replacements ordered shortly thereafter . Stand your ground
  17. Low 30s for me however my daily commute is only 8 miles each way and is quite hilly. On a longer progressive run mid 30s. I’m happy with these figures given power to weight etc Should add I am now on 2200 miles
  18. 2k done on my hatch now with no rear wiper. Don’t miss it and think the car looks better and cleaner without it
  19. Very happy with my VRS. Few minor software issues that are being addressed with software updates. 1500 miles covered now
