  1. Now things have changed, an example: https://www.amazon.com/WATERWICH-Temperature-Electronic-Sensor-Black-Automotive/dp/B0819JSBY9
  2. I had one in the past, a custom hexagon tube fitted and the gauge had his own sensor. Was teplacing the factory switch although some mechanics (back then) disagree because with the new aftermarket gauge yes you had precise indications but no red warning light in the dashboard (as you could have with the factory).
  3. Fits in: Skoda Octavia 5 Station Wagon 2004-2011 / Octavia 4 1996-2005 / Felicia 1998-2001 / Felicia Station Wagon 1998-2001 / Octavia 4 Station Wagon 1996-2005 / Octavia 5 2004-2011 / Fabia 2006+ / Fabia Station Wagon 2006+ / Fabia 1999-2005
  4. Skoda 078 117 021 A isn't the part's code? Many buying options here: VW group Oil Cooler
  5. 3 times my electrician failed to ''marry'' sensor from othes gauges to other instrument, never worked properly that's why assumed that this is some kind of ''general rule''. Examples: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184080832085 https://www.desertcart.ec/products/69989092 https://www.amazon.com/52mm-Water-Temp-Gauge
  6. Every gauge has his own sensor and it's calibrated, switcing sensor and gauges created only a mess. TC-6 has a simple plastic sensor, compared to another (simple and cheap) digital thermometer is very close in indications. I have it to measure the incoming air (after the air filter), just to use it, i don't relay on it in something crucial.
  7. While searching: Chladič oleje Škoda Favorit https://www.skoda-dily.cz/nahradni-dil/038117021a-chladic-oleje-tdi-cina-28772.html This is for 1.9 TDI https://pragos.cz/veterani/clanek?id=1049&business=1 https://aukro.cz/olejovy-chladic-skoda-1000-100-110-120-130-6971221175 For older Skoda models.
  8. OK then, i the future i will use the IR gun and the digital thermometer, i have them with me.
  9. First attempts with the cellphone IR application camera that @nta16 suggested me. I am not in pc right now, does anyone can zoom and tell the difference? Any conclusions?
  10. From another car £410.18 But i saw this too https://m.antallaktikaonline.gr/nrf/13865170?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&tb_prm=18646437765&gshp=1&gad_source=1 Big price difference !

  12. https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/knowledge_base_articles/view/laminova-oil-water-heat-exchangers-319 Like this?
  13. Felicia Pick-up White/Dove Mixing code 1021, Skoda code T7T7 , Aerosol No HFA381058.
  14. It's not in the service manual, it's written in the car's paper that you bought it, says the VIN the paint code and the description of the vehicle. Is on the Registration that you show in the traffic Police stop, an example: https://d23vfvjlkuzpf0.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2023/03/adeia-kykloforias-paradeigma.webp
  15. In GR is written in the car registry paper, for example in mine says: Silver 431 (not sure for but is a 3 digit number) so any painter in reoair shop can find the proper colour from his supplier. ______________ Where is the color code on a Skoda Felicia? The paint code for all ŠKODA models can be found in the boot of the vehicle. _______________ Where is my Skoda paint code? Paint Code Location Check under the boot lid, inside the rear compartment, under the mat, or on the spare tyre wheel well. A Skoda Colour Code is typically 2,3 or 4 numbers long, but can also be a letter/number combination. If you can't find the sticker on the car some dealers will put it inside the service log book.
  16. Old specifications, doesn't mean that we must follow them forever. When Felicia created no one knew the G12, the 98 octane gasoline, the aramid-fibre brake pads etc, dosen't mean we can not use them now.
  17. Very interesting article about the Oil Cooler. https://club.autodoc.co.uk/magazin/oil-coolers-how-they-keep-your-car-cool Oil cooler: leaks, failure symptoms, problems and how it works
  18. Was, is and it would be as long the Felicia exists. With Synthetic oil and 80-85 thermoswitch it would be OK, 75-80 is too low and the radiator will work overtimes.
  19. See? That's the cause Next time use a Synthetic 10W-40 (tested and approved) and everything will turn back to normal (which means Good).
  20. Autodoc.uk will have the proper codes. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/clutch-cable-10177/skoda/favorit In GR those codes maybe different. https://kritosparts.gr/SKODA-FAVORIT-(781)-05-89-09-94-1.3-135-(781)-781.135-(58hp)-12-91-09-94/Ntiza-symplekti/m106_a398_t3034_r478_v2
  21. You mean these? https://www.autodoc.co.uk/vika/13156318 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/vika/13155733 I have asked in the past for my 1.3 and they told my it's the same trouble.
  22. No problem at all to mention it, what you see as "war" it's an every day forum conversation in GR. I have the same thermostat but in 80-85 'C.
  23. I don't know if @R_Blue drives under so heavy load that needs an oil cooler (isn't turbocharged). Nevertheless that oil cooler needs careful placment, maintenance because if something goes wrong the results could be catastrophic, worst that an overheating that may face now. One click lower thermoswich won't help? An extra radiator?
  24. Same method is used ever from Police in USA to open doors from seized or absndoned cars.
  25. Differs than ours in the North Greece for example? Like your birthplace.
