  1. I meant in high rpm in mountain roads turns, 2rd-3rd-4th gear till 5900 rpm to the ''red zone''.
  2. Many times i had the thought to install a front bumper splitter, not a whole bumper (we call it ''Lip" here) but i hesitate because many times when you are trying to enter a repair-shop and have such a spoiler will be scrtached in the ramp.
  3. I saw this topic too late but i will add my experience about it. Here in Greece the local dealer didn't had all these options available https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2020_04/1841705095_SkodaFeliciaRotBoyasSatnAlColorNDrive.thumb.png.80418c7a514d80458dee5aca436ba637.png https://i.imgur.com/VYjzdTQ.jpeg only the ''basic'' edition from each colour, i wanted a metallic blue but there was no option so i bought the ''basic'' Silver which i didn't like it so much compared to the metallic blue. I still envy the car with that colour. 😏
  4. Looks like this https://preview2.netcarshow.com/Skoda-Octavia_Combi_L_and_K-1998-1600-06.jpg https://www.megaparts.eu/uploads/productgalleryfile/images/originals/1009701261524200670.jpg Modification in switches, door handle rod, locks etc. 😲
  5. I saw this while searching for Felicia tuning. https://skodafeliciatuning.estranky.cz/fotoalbum/skoda-felicia-tuning-/skoda-felicia-tuning/atc-20pavov-202004-20085.jpg.html Isn't this from an Octavia? How he manage to fit it?
  6. I have found something, take a look that black tube Γ style. I wonder, he made it of bought it?
  7. I love '60's Muscle Cars, this is a gauge panel from C2 Corvette. I wish i could remove my factory panel and install after market gauges ''Old Style" to look like these: I don't like that factory plastic cover, i wish i could have gauges like these with chrome ring and more close to me (vertical), ''Old School'' as they say.
  8. Plain OBD is what we have. Any VW Group repair-store will have a laptop with the programme inside, even an old style error scanner will do for Felicia. Why don't you try an ECU reset by yourself, maybe there is an error kept in the memory and cause you the problem, maybe when erased everything will back to normal. You can do a reset from the ECU plugs or the battery or from the fuses inside, it's easy.
  9. Check with VCDS to see any error codes? An ECU restart by yourself maybe will help.
  10. The radiator fan switch is OK? Connections are tight? Coolants sensors cables and pins checked? I had a problem in the past with mine. https://imgur.com/f1OlmZj https://imgur.com/IfK1GYb Coolant sensor ''base'' is clear from detritus? Put your finger inside, check and with a piece of cloth clear the whole area, in the past some powder from a previous additive was causing the dashboard gauge to show false indications.
  11. Geia sou Patrida ! https://skoda-virt.cz/cz/clanky/elektrika/845-el-schemata-felicie/ Take a look above, click and enlarge the photos.
  12. I have used 3 brands of 10W-40, only the Amsoil could make the engine rev-up in mountain roads so good but it's very expensive. The other 2 ''couldn't make it'' so i am confused, maybe i will return to Mobil 1 15W-50, i don't know. 🙄
  13. I have Synthetic 5W-40 for few weeks now. In few days i will make a fuel consumption test with the new engine oil and i will post the results but as for the engine behaviour at high rpm and coolant temperature the 5W-40 is already one click ahead from my previous Synthetic 10W-40 oil.
  14. Coolant engine temperature was the same. Air intake temperature was a bit different due to the 2 different filters and in one case no filter at all and i thought that i would had different results. Same fuel, same coolant, almost same weather and the same 3:40 Cold start time? Tomorrow i will make another test, i have new engine oil. 😏
  15. I never had the thought to use 20W-30 in my Felicia. I have use in the past Mobil-1 15W-50 in three oil changes before i turn to Amsoil 10W-40. By the way the 5W-50 will do?
  16. The MAP sensor is the same in those 3 cases. I can't understand that with 3 occasions (in one experiment i had No filter at all ) the ECU does not understand the difference and the Cold start is the same. I will make another test with a new oil viscosity now that the Winter is coming.
  17. https://oilincar.com/skoda/felicia/1-1994-2001.php Summer -5 to +45 °C (it's like the temperatures that i have here) 20W-30 25W-30 No offence but i don't know how the car will rev-up with such a thick oil. With semi-synthetics 10W-40 the car hesitates at high rpm.
  18. Trying to ''enrich'' the conversation: So do i need 5w40 or 10W40? https://totalenergies.in/blogs/5w40-choosing-right-engine-oil-your-car The choice between 5w40 engine oil and an alternative like 10w40 depends on the winter temperature in your region. 5w40 is better for starting your engine at low temperatures as it flows more easily at these temperatures. When the engine is running and hot, 5w40 and 10w40 have high viscosities and are equally effective in protecting against engine wear. 5w40 vs 10w40 Engine Oil: Which One Is Best for Your Vehicle https://carfueladvisor.com/5w40-vs-10w40/ s 5w30 better than 5w40? Yes, 5w30 is a better option as it is suitable for vehicles of different types and is appropriate to use in different temperatures. Especially, it shows excellent performance in colder temperatures. 5w40 also shows good performance in low temperatures but they are more suitable for high mileage engines and warmer temperatures. Is 10w40 thicker than 5w40 At room temperature, both 5w40 and 10w40 oils show the same thickness. However, in a cold or freezing temperature, 10W40 engine oil is thicker than 5w40 oil. what cars use 10w40 oil 10w40 oils are best for cars with old engines, and for the ones that do not need to run in extreme weather. Commonly, drivers prefer 10w40 oils for cars that need a high mileage. Can I use 5w40 instead of 15w40? In most cases, it would be okay to use a 5w40 oil instead of a 15w40 oil. The 5w40 oils will indeed show a better performance in the colder temperatures. Can I use 10w40 instead of 5w40? 5w40 offers better start-up protection and the smallest bit of fuel economy for the initial 5-10 minutes of the journey. After that, it is pretty much the same as 10w40. However, 5w40 engine oils have better flowability in cold temperatures compared to 10w40 oils, as they are thin and lightweight. If you use a 10w40 oil instead of a 5w40 oil in cold temperatures, the molecules of the 10w40 oils might be too big for entering into the metal parts of the engine. Thus, proper lubrication will be hampered and the vehicle will lead to damage.
  19. 20W-50 are for small (city use) 50cc carburettor motorcycles (the ''papakia'') of the late 80's era. Yes about the environment, too much cold etc but how can you run fast a car with such a high viscous oil? Have you ever heard about this before? Even a synthetic 5W-40 can harm our engine?
  20. I didn't knew that. The same applies for 5W-40 in our climate here? I have use many brands in 10W-40 but my car does not like all of them in high rpm in mountain roads.
  21. The question still remains: So the way-quantity of the incoming air does not affect the Cold Start so much? Maybe the Lubrication? A different brand engine oil in different viscosity than the 10W-40 may do some improvement?
  22. Felicia bike carbs https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/411104-felicia-bike-carbs/
  23. Wow @Skodle, how did you know that the word Copela is used here in Greece? 😀 Due to some adjustments the Mpg got better that the other years, i will post the results in the other topic. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/499328-how-much-time-do-you-warm-up-your-felicia/ I have opened a thread for this, soon i will post some results and questions from new test. __________________________________________ The idea behind the hood scoop is to protect my (not good design and material) sponge filter from water (rain-car washing) leaves etc and then to try to seal the existing oval gasket with the hood because as i have shown there is a small gap.
  24. I have in my Pc stored the Felicia GLX , SLX 1.6 1AV (AEE) Wiring Diagrams There are 5 (the 3rd you already have seen it above). I am not car mechanic or car electrician, all i have for 1AV Fuel Injection & Ignition System.pdf ECU-pin are these:
