  1. That Seat belt warning light never-ever lighted in my Felicia from the 1st day that i bought my Trusty. I could (and I can) drive without the seat belt On.
  2. Yes, the lock switch is the ''master'' and controls everything, no by-bass on him.
  3. I am not a mechanic but your current rear shocks are the original from Skoda? The new ones do not fit at all? For example: I have Koni Orange, they didn't fit ''exactly'' but with a small modification from the repair-shop are OK and i have them on use for many years
  4. Take a look at the Application https://www.nanodatex.com/o/687958-rear-shock-absorber-l-p-skoda-favorit-felicia You have bought something like this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232126403088 What's the ETKA number? Some CZ (except the one that you bought) and Poland stores have many parts for our cars which can not find them elsewere.
  5. Same problem with me. Every time they employees in the parts store ask for my VIN, i give it to them (plus photos from the label) and no results at all, is unrecognizable. Every single time i have to full describe my car (model, year, doors, HP etc).
  6. @hzoltaan here are the photos: 1) No light at all A: behind that hole there is a clip for the cables (in case that i want to remove the speaker stand). B: it came off, i will fix it soon. 2) Only the factory light is On, see the difference with the Led bulb. 3) All ON, the round Led was an addition many years ago, maybe in the future i will change it with a strip with is more ''cosmetic'' but even now a have plenty of light even in dark areas. 4) Only the round Led ON (i forgot to take a photo) 😁 The switches are Push On-Push Off, in the past i had a chrome one but looked too fancy.
  7. NO problem at all, old thread digging is very good. I removed gently the plastic cover (has 2 clips) with the bit of a knife (even a small screedriver can do the job) and changed the stock-yellow poor light bulb with led-cob. Additionally i have added 2 round led lights and an extra switch so anytime i want extra light i can have it available, i will post photos tonight or tomorrow.
  8. Belt Tensioner Pulley, How to replace. Isn't the same with your engine?
  9. I have never seen in the past a Felicia belt this way that's why i reacted, here is mine, not good photos but due to A/C and power steering wheel things look different.
  10. The arrow shows the tension pulley, from there you can make things ''loose'' and work for example change the belt etc. With the help of a lever and a hexagon socket you push a little bit and you have the proper cm to work.
  11. Something is WRONG, the belt must not be under the pulley ! The grooves must touch the pulley, now it's in reverse, who did this? 😲
  12. From their website https://www.mannol.de/products/motor-oils-for-cars-and-transporters https://www.mannol.de/products/motor-oils-for-cars-and-transporters/semi-synthetic-oils/mannol-defender-10w-40 still available in Greece https://www.skroutz.gr/s/6219572/Mannol-Ημισυνθετικό-Λάδι-Αυτοκινήτου-Defender-10W-40-A3-B3-5lt.html
  13. I have, one bulb ''burned'' (was for the beam) inside the dashboard.
  14. https://www.juwra.com/skoda_felicia.html Weight: 880 kg https://auta5p.eu/lang/en/katalog/auto.php?idf=Skoda-Felicia-Kit-Car-1600-22734 Weight: 890 kg
  15. You can use a Reflector tape or a Luminous so in the dark will glow and the followed cars can see you better. Here is another example with Chrome tape, more for beauty.
  16. Here as is in my Felicia. The background is different because i have added insulation.
  17. I haven't see a Felicia here in Greece with such factory reflectors but if you want you can find in Aliexpress for example but they are not so wide.
  18. https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/know-how/volkswagen-dashboard-warning-lights-what-they-mean/ Does this VW guide helps?
  19. May i ask, you already have this phrase on your signature so why you put it again in the beginning of every post? I don't think that anyone can blame you for an advise or ask for compensation if he does something which end-up wrong. 😎
  20. A random example: VW Polo GTI Trying to park it in small spaces in a big city the scratch on the bumper it is inevitable, the same applies to the side of the doors if the road is not wide and there are parked car in both sides. Yes is very nice looking, new design but not practical in the today's ''Hell'' of big cities with not enough parking spaces available.
  21. These are for radiator fan only, i learn about them ''in the hard way'' because 2 times cause me major problem. Due to corrosion on their pins or malfunction the radiator fan was working unpredictable and the coolant temperature was raising dangerously.
  22. I prefer the 1st option (i already have them in my Felicia) and many times they ''saved me'' from scratches etc from other cars. Yes, those protective stripes plus those doors protectors are not ''good looking'' but if you live in a city with lot of traffic, with no easy to find parking space and you park in the road side many times you will need them. In this case Practicality beats Beauty.
  23. Yes they are a little bit high in length that's why i cut the front few cm. My car is lowered 3mm at least and many times those mudflaps were touching the pavement-concrete etc trying to enter a repair-shop for example producing an unpleasant noise.
  24. From the ''To be, or not to be'' we are now in the dilemma ''To brace, or not to brace". 😁
