Felicia Pickup TSI
In USA many drivers today build a Muscle car ''for a lifetime'', in Greece you know that we say ''you married it". I wish i had a private parking to make my Trusty as my ''dream car''. Congrats, you're da Man ! 🤝 🏁

Skoda favorit brake swap/upgrade front +rear
I have read complains from drivers which made ''alchemies'' in their brakes that in the last meters of their breaking the rear of the car moves left of right.

With the ''small'' HP that we have we don't need disc brakes in the rear, drum brakes are OK. Felicia weight balance is 62/38, adding disc brakes (without proper suspension-good condition tyres) will cause you problems while braking.

Fine but you have to inform him about your location. 😉

Continually running cooling fan.
The first time: One click above 90 'C ( must be 91-92) and works for few seconds, less than a minute.

The valve cover it's Chromium? Plated or painted? The red letters-logo are Smalto or high temperature paint?

6U0959481A Depends from the country that you living (climate) Here mainly we use 80-85 'C (some with older cars in traffic areas use 75-80 'C ) ,if you live in a colder place then 85-90 'C etc An example from the well know Mahle https://www.trodo.com/temperature-switch-radiator-fan-mahle-original-tsw-4d

Winter With Your Classic Škoda
That is the trick here in city when a sudden snowfall starts and you don't have winter-chains. The bus goes slowly and you are just behind it following its tracks, the weight of the bus crashes the snow so you don't have problem to roll in low speed till you get home.

Yellow ring coolant sensors never worked good in my Feliica. Have you checked the pins in the ECU plugs for signs of corrosion?

Of course is but in the summer period here in GR gets hot, it gets too much temperature from the exhaust manifold especially in long distance trips. https://ican.gr/product/wd-40-gt85-multi-purpose-lubricant-with-ptfe-400ml-τεμάχιο/ WD-40 GT85 Those with PTFE were we call them Teflon spary, an example: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/20885544/Wd-40-Specialist-Anti-Friction-Dry-PTFE-Lubricant-Σπρέι-Τεφλόν-400ml.html some more: https://www.skroutz.gr/search?keyphrase=σπρευ+τεφλον

I don't agree with the plastic tie-wraps and the fabric tape close to the manifold. You can use metal tie-wraps of aluminium high temperature adhesive tape. In the past i had problem with odour because a plastic part which was around the cable of Lambda was getting overheated and every day i had a bad smell inside the cabin. https://imgur.com/t0X2FmX PS: the slippers on both of you was characteristic. 😉

ONLY 35 for new manifold intake and 28 euro for new thermostat? You can pull it out and use some silicone spray.

Mine too (as is from the factory) so i added a plastic part to avoid the friction on the oil filter. The @Thefeliciahacker hose looks much better.

Remember my odest problem where the scales were upside down (at normal traffic i had the Hi and wth a/c i had the Low) as i bought it from a parts-store.

I keep in mind the temperature range first, an example: https://www.thehosemaster.co.uk/l375-hot-water-car-heater-hose Although it's from ALFAGOMMA and for cooling systems i would't use it for our main coolant hose.

I know the brand and i have bought from them but sometimes we have to pay attention to small details (generally speaking) Two examples from that company: https://www.sidiros.gr/irrigation/SOLHNAS-F19MM-10BAR-APODOSEOS-NEROY-MAYROS-SYNTHETIKOS-63633 is till +60 ° C only https://www.sidiros.gr/irrigation/MANIKA-F90X102MM-18BAR-LAYFLAT-3-1-2-INTSVN-ALFAGOMMA-KAROYLIOY-20140 is till +80 ° C The proper is this: https://www.toolsonline.gr/el/eukamptoi-solines/solina-zestou-nerou-gia-psygeia-autokiniton-20-mm-αlfagomma-325:v.html is till +120 ° C I trusted the employee of the store and then i had a problem, when i touched and felt the softness i said ''Ok the disaster is coming right now" Thankfully i was not in a long distance trip ad the next day i replaced them (extra cost-effort-mess with spilled coolant etc.

As for the hoses for coolant: few years ago when i had a problem with a T connector i used commercial hoses from local market, although i asked for hoses to have resistance in hot water i didn't pay attention to the details when i installed them, were till 102 'C only. I didn't had instant problem but after the second test became soft and i was afraid that soon or latter the ''boom'' will come so i search deeper and bought others which can stand at least till 120 'C ,of course the whole system won't reach this number but i feel assured.
