  1. None of MIB2 units support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay natively - it can be achieved ONLY with third party adapter connected to USB. I can deliver both display and glove box unit, if you are interested pls contact me in PM.
  2. So now you have Bolero MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, part number 5E0035842A, with USB 5Q0035726B and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You also need to replace display unit: - for MIB2 Bolero you can use either 6.5" model number 5E0919605H or 8" model number 5E0919605N - for MIB2 Amundsen and MIB2 Columbus you can use listed above display as well as 6.5" model number 5E0919605J, 8" model number 5E0919606, 8" model number 5E0919605M - for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you would like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)

  5. 3Q0035466A or 81A035223. No changes in wiring required. You will also need either to slightly rework or replace installation frame for the amplifier (new one part number is 3Q0907390).
  6. 5Q0035874C and 5E0919605M is a nice set. Component protection in 5Q0035874C can be disabled in HMI (there is an error in diagnostics but the unit works normally). Component protection in CANTON amplifier must be removed online. USB for CarPlay is 5Q0035726E or 5Q0035726J.

  8. @jonzi55 start with sharing VIN of your car.
  9. It's NOT a firmware for your unit - it's for Bolero MIB1 and AMundsen MIB1 and yours is Columbus MIB1.
  10. MIB1 units have NEVER been used in yeti - only MIB STD2 PQ. You must be wrong. All others pls check your PMs.
  11. To use SIM option you need to extend your antenna system with two LTE antennas installed in the corners of rear bumper. Then the unit must be proerly coded to have it enabled.
  12. @Lexyy I sent you download link in PM
  13. Why should you pay for something you can get free? Just check your VIN on Skoda Update Portal, download required maps (pay attention to the size of your Skoda SD) and unpack them to SD (make sure folder "maps" is located directly on SD, not in any other folder).
  14. Yes, you ca, or you can patch th eunit - search for MIB STD2 Toolbox
  15. There are dedicated tools that charge / discharge battery, they can very precisely measure the battery and have it "refreshed". My battery indeed required replacement although the quick measurements made by garage showed it's OK.
  16. You already have the latest firmware installed (0480). I suggest you check your battery dynamically, with charging-dischargin cycle. It's very probable that one of cells is broken - I had the same recently in my car.
  17. So now you have Amundsen MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, part number 5E0035874A, with USB 5Q0035726B and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You have to replace both glove box unit and display. Glove box unit must be reworked - patched for Component Protection and activations. It must also have coding and adaptation adjusted to match your car equipment. If you would like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port.
  18. All you need in infotainment reader (glove box unit), either Bolero or Amundsen. I can deliver such unit in Plug&Play version - I will send you an offer in PM.
  19. I've sent t=you PM to agree the scope
  20. It's up to you. Generally it's not the rocket science but it requires some tools and knowledge - see https://github.com/olli991/mib-std2-pq-zr-toolbox/issues/371 If you don't find yourself comfortable in running emergency update procedure then of course you can send it to me, I can make it, upgrade firmware to 0480 and unlock all the features.
