  1. Thank you :) @ceper80 check your PM
  2. Part number and SW version of your unit?
  3. It's a pity that this screen is INCOMPLETE - it is missing plastic trim at the bottom. I mentioned upgrdae to 0369 or 0480 - I sent you links for both. Keep i n mind upgrade to 0480 requires unit to be patched first and modified metainfo2.txt - don't ask me how to do it, search for MIB STD2 TOOLBOX.
  4. All check your PMs. And pls remember to use @ before user name if you want to ping him/her as @frigo007 did
  5. Sorry it's not visible, just put it as plain text pls
  6. @Napcraft @Automotive1 download link sent in PM
  7. 5E0919605J (6.5" pre-lifted, exactly the same as you have now) 5E0919606 (8" pre-lifted) 5E0919605M (8" face-lifted) I also recommend upgrading formware to 0369 (or 0480 if word like "patching" don't scare you)
  8. Yes, VIN is required to check details of your car specification.
  9. @matbeva thank you, it's very nice of you :) @MrHiggs1 I sent you download link in PM.
  10. Chepeast is Bolero but you lose OEM navigation so I would rather go into Amundsen. New unit must be patched otherwise you will not be able to use new features that are protected with FEC/SWaP codes (e.g. SmartLink). I can deliver such unit in P&P version, if you are interested pls contact me in PM.
  11. So now you have Columbus MIB1, with Bluetooth, without DAB, part number 5E0035045C, with USB 5Q0035726C and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You don't need to replace display unit unless you want to retrofit MIB2.5 Columbus as the only display unit that works wit it is 5E0919606D. If you would like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. If you want DAB you can retrrofit unit with DAB onboard and add DAB antenna. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)

  13. SHow your current SW train
  14. If you have VCDS, VCP, ODIS or VC Tool that with AMundsen you can do it all by yourself...
  15. Yes, I do, but my understanding is you have already bought a MIB2 AMundsen and display 5E0919605M (without lower trim), so all you need from me is to have it reworked (Component Protection disabling, activation of all supported features, programming to match your car module)?
  16. Probably the unit is broken - either HW or SW. Start with checking installed FEC/SWaP codes - go to service menu (long press MENU bottom) and check if you have FEC/SWaP menu available. If you don't you have to enable developer mode in adaptations with VCDS, VCP, ODIS, VC Tool (requires enabling security first with code S12345).
  17. You bough an incomplete 5E0919605M dsiplay it misses the lower plastic trim. Unfortunately it's different to the one of the old display and it's mission impossible to get it separately. I assume you also changed glove box unit so if it has not been patched neither assigned to the car with ODIS ONLINE you should not be surprised with Component Protection message.
  18. To insert white plug into blue socket you have to take a small but sharp knive, identify the excessive "trim" that does not allow you to connect it and just cut it off.
  19. It seems this is your factory installed unit - why have you used modified firmware instead of original one? I recommend you make a full reflash: Enable "developer mode" Restart the unit Insert SD crad with original firmware Go to Service Menu and select Manual SWDL Insert SD Select All Start update
