  1. Should be possible, pls share VIN so I can check
  2. Format original SD maps card (FAT32 / 4096 bytes per sector) Unpack downloaded maps file to SD (folder "maps" should be located directly on SD, not in any other folder.
  3. Superb - you need new glove box, glove box unit (Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus), new display unit matching new glove box unit, extra harness to have it all connected. For Android Auto you don't have to replace USB but if you would like to have CarPlay as well then USB must be replaced too - I recommend 5Q0035726J (5Q0035726E can be used as well but requires cutting excessive plastic trim from the plug). Octavia - you need new glove box unit (Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus), new display unit matching new glove box unit. For Android Auto you don't have to replace USB but if you would like to have CarPlay as well then USB must be replaced too - I recommend 5Q0035726J or 5Q0035726E (both require cutting excessive plastic trim from the plug). 5E0035xxx units have NEVER been installed in SUperb as they are MIB1 units.
  4. This is possible but not easy as MHI2_ER_SKG13 firmwares required NAND to be partitioned differently, if you are not familair with QNX then I do not recommend as you can brick the unit. Anyway, such upgrade requires unit to be patched first.
  5. As you have Amundsen unit then yes, it's possible, google for MIB STD2 Toolkit Nope, you are running the latest available firmware.
  6. There is no official way to have it solved. What I use is to have it upgraded to VW firmware 0480 and then load SKODA HMI from MY18 ZR (MQB) units. However, it requires unit to be patched first.
  7. NOpe, I don;t expect any to be released as these units are more than 5 years old which is out of support period.
  8. You already have latest official firmware available for your unit.
  9. Simply re-save each station and logo will re-appear, this is because of updated logo database included in firmware 0480. Going back to 0468 makes no sense.
  10. Unfortunately not, Fabia Mk3 has simplified windows power opening and closing.
  11. No, VW firmware is for VW units, it will NOT work in SK units.
  12. Aftermarket units from China will be cheapest however my experience is they degrade quick quickly, especially if you go for lower specs. Units from well-known brands (e.g. Kenwood, JVC, SONY, Pioneer etc.) will be the most expensive ones, will require extra trim to fit dashboard and might not be fully integrated with the car. IMHO the best option are OEM units - the question is what is your budget and if you would like to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
  13. Another option is to share VIN of your car in PM and I will send such document to you free of charge :) Maps you can find at SKODA UPDATE PORTAL
  14. You have SD card slot inside the glovebox, located vertically on the side of the driver.
  15. Your microphone goes to RNS510 and then from RNS510 to BT module
  16. Yes, V17 is the latest version, it was released I belie in 2018 or 2019.
  17. OK, that make s life easier as well. Indeed, you have to replace it, if you are interested pls contact me in PM.
