  1. Burn it as iso image and just insert into the slot
  2. I sent you download link in PM. Pls do not use DVD but CD-R.
  3. You have MIB1 unit. It's possible to convert it to EU but it's NOT possible to use CarPlay as it does NOT support it at all - if you want CarPlay you MUST replace your glove box unit with one of MIB2 series. If you are interested pls contact me in PM. All others check your PMs.
  4. 99% LCD is broken, disassemble and clean, if doesn't help buy second hand instrument cluster and replace LCD only. If you share VIN then I can check instrument cluster part number
  5. I have made several such retrofits, its not a very big deal when you have all the parts pre-programmed and patched. If you are interested in getting such kit pls contact me in PM.
  6. Possible but: New unit must be assigned online to your car (component protection removal) by Skoda dealer or someone with ODIS ONLINE account for Skoda. SmartLink will stop working after few hours (up to 8) and can NOT be officially activated. The only possibility is to have the new unit patched. Unfortunately I don't know anyone neither the way to have it patched. It's possible to patch Bolero or Amundsen unit but this requires more parts to be replaced (display unit, infotainment reader, harness to connect both units and, if you want to use CarPlay, then also USB, port).
  7. SO your microphone goes directly to BT module, you will need to re-wire it to MIB STD2 PQ unit. I usually do it by making two joints in BT connector (pins 8-12 and 9-11) which redirects microphone signal via audio out cable (so you don't need to make new wires between BT module and MIB STD2 PQ unit).
  8. here is no such firmware as Yeti production was closed with MY17 which had SW 03xx. @SalvaS good job, now find two adaptation channels with words "Google" and "Apple" and enable them (the ones without "wireless" only).
  9. Sent in PM. @MERO772005 unfortunately I don't have it :(
  10. There is no difference in the way SW update is made between DVD and CD but as many old lasers have issues with reading burned DVD I definiteley recommend to use CD-R. Use lowest available burning speed.
  11. Microphone is easy, it depends on your harness as they were two ways it was connected (either directly to BT module or directly to radio and then from radio to BT module). If you can make a picture of QUadLOck plug that goes into your radio, from the cable side, focused on green 12-pin connector. I don't find any incompatibility based on VIN.
  12. Old Bluetooth module must be removed and microphone must be connected directly to MIB SYD2 PQ unit Yes, you will see in screen the car and sensors changing color with proximity. Yes, steering wheel adapter will work properly. USB adapter that you have now must be removed and replaced with the one that works with MIB STD2 PQ series. Pls share your VIN so I can check details of your car configuration.
  13. I have no clue what accessoried you mean... for sure you will need QuadLock adapter, USB port and if you don't have then microphone as well
  14. Yes, you caninstall MIB STD2 PQ unit in your car, I made several retrofits in Fabia Mk2 :)
  15. Good luck... I don't know any solution for Swing with this firmware
  16. I bet you have the problem with HDD. You can try to get another HDD, have it replaced and then restart firmware upgrade. It's IDE (PATA) HDD/SSD, 2.5" size.
  17. Check the buttons, especially right side...
  18. You need to burn it as an image, not just placing the file on CD. 700MB CD-R is enough
  19. Indeed, this is Amunden MIB2, without DAB/DAB+, MY17. Yes, you can replace the display unit with 5E0919605N, everything will work as expected, including APP button.
