Glove box unit must be patched and in this case it must be opened and soldered. USB for CarPLay is a must and later you can add wirelesss adapter too

You have Amundsen MIB2 with DAB, part number 5Q0035874A, you can unlock it by yourself - google for MIB STD2 Toolbox.

Official is 0253T. You can go to 0480T but it requires unit to be patched, e.g. with MIB STD2 Toolbox.

I know several people had this fault too but unfortunately I don't know any solution for it :(

You have Amunden MIB2 with DAB, part number 5Q0035874A. You can swap display unit to 5E0919605M or 5E0919605N or 5E0919606 but in case of 5E0919605M and 5E0919605N button APP will not work unless you upgrade the firmware to 03xx or 04xx which requires unit to be patched.

If you have no buttons now then unfortunately it's not so easy, requires extra harness and might requires BCM/Gateway module retrofit as well.

You can use 8" prelift 5E0919606 or 8" facelift 5E0919605M however in case of 5E0919605M button APP will not work unless you upgrade firmware to 03xx or 04xx which requires patching first. If you decide to upgrade to 03xx or 04xx pls note left and right channels will be swapped.

@Nemain touch problem is hardware, not firmware - you should have digitizer replaced. @BranciK I sent you download link to MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0480T in PM. @Doraty236 you have MY17 unit, you need firmware 03xx and probably have to go through emergency. I sent you download link to MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0369T in PM.

You just have to replace the infotainment reader (golve box unit), no need to replace the display unit (however you can do it if you want). The question is if you want Bolero (withput built-in OEM sat nav) or Amundsen (with built-in OEM sat nav). What do you expect from the new unit?

You need 9.2" display 5E0919606D. Just cut from the pink plug an excessive piecie of plastic that does not allow you to insert it into grey socket.
