  1. Rear wiper engine. You have to find a cabe that has +12V when ignition is on. Or reverse light bulb ut in this case you should use a special filter on the power line.
  2. I sent you link to MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_8755, this is the most recent I have. Don't use USB, just SD. 1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  3. It looks that you are trying to update from SW version 02xx or 03xx - this is not possible unless you patch your unit first.
  4. I understand but as I wrote you previously, I don't use it at so can't help you more.
  5. Patching is made with MIB STD2 Toolbox so have it installed, in the newest version.
  6. I don't use it at all so someone else has to confirm but if this is the newest version then IMHO you should go with it.
  7. Just google for 'MIB STD2 TOOLBOX" then read and follow instructions from github
  8. @fthkara 0369, I have just sent you download link on PM @Davidmet14 You can upgrade to MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0480T but first you have to install MIB STD2 Toolbox and patch swdownload in order to install this firmware
  9. @fthkara you have non-navigation unit, upgrading to 0480 in this case requires unit to be dismantledm opened and resoldered. @Davidmet14 pls post part number of your unit.
  10. So now you have Columbus MIB1, with Bluetooth, without DAB, part number 5E0035845C, with USB 5Q0035726C and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You don't need to replace display unit unless you want to switch to Columbus MIB2.5 as it works only with display 5E0919606D. As you want to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  11. For sure you should try, I sent you download link on PM.
  12. All check your PMs. MIB2 units do NOT support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  13. Try resetting your infotainment unit to facory settings.
  14. Burn on CD, not DVD
  15. @Reqit confirmed, unit must be open and soldered to get to EMMC and change some files.
  16. Pls share either part number and current SW version (can be checked in menu SETUP then SYSTEM INFORMATION) or VIN (so I can check part number by myself).
  17. You have to share either part number and current SW version (can be checked in menu SETUP then SYSTEM INFORMATION) or VIN (so I can check part number by myself).
  18. And what if you remove all the power adaptors from cigarette lighter and dahscam?
  19. No, it does not support SmartLInk. The update just fixes some bugs, no new features.
