  1. Having it activated by Skoda dealer, even if it costs £210, is the cheapest solution in your case (despite retrofirring some aftermarket unit which I do not recommend).
  2. No, you are already on the most recent firmware. All others check your PMs. The recommended way to make the firmware upgrade: 1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  3. I don't see valid FEC/SWaP codes for Aple CarPlay (60800) and Android Auto (60900), just MirroLink (60300) is activated. This is probably the root cause of your problem.
  4. You choose the car visualization in coding, first three bytes. But you can NOT choose the color.
  5. I'm afraid this will not work, it requires update to SW 04xx but unfortunately there is no such software for SKODA so the procedure is much more complicated: load MIB STD2 Toolbox patch swdownload with MIB STD2 Toolbox load VW firmware MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0480T load modified SKODA HMI from firmware MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T apply patch with MIB STD2 Toolbox to enable features controlled with FEC/SWaP codes
  6. As @varaderoguy first we need a full scan done on the car to see all the errors.
  7. Download link in PM
  8. Check your PMs for download link
  9. I sent you link to MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0480T in PM
  10. No, this is xml file that parametrizes different features. You can NOT load it with VCDS
  11. Yes, possible, either by Skoda dealer or patching the glove box unit which unfortunately in this case requires unit to be open and soldered. ODIS, VCTool, Vag Can Pro...
  12. Go straight to 0480 - I sent you download link in PM
  13. The good news is you have gateway that support MFSW. You can get the complete MFSW or, if I am not mistaken, just the buttons 3V0919719E. Unfortunately I am not able to give you any indication on where to buy the parts as I am not located in UK :(
  14. I have only MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_8755
  15. You CAN't upgrade BOLE|Ro from 02xx to 03xx or 04xx, unit must be patched first which requires it to be open and soldered.
  16. You can use any 8" display, it's up to you which one you prefer, both will work with Amundsen MIB2. Android Auto and APple CarPlay are wired, if you want to have it wireless you must add third party adapter. Amundsen MIB2 with DAB glove box unit part numbers are 5Q0035874A, 5Q0035874B, 5Q0035874C and 565035874. New unit must be patched to disable component protection and enable all the features. Yes, I can deliver complete set in Plug&Play version, I will send you PM.
  17. So now you have Amundsen MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, part number 5E0035874A, with USB 5Q0035726B and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You also need to replace display unit: - for MIB2 Bolero you can use either 6.5" model number 5E0919605H or 8" model number 5E0919605N - for MIB2 Amundsen and MIB2 Columbus you can use listed above display as well as 6.5" model number 5E0919605J, 8" model number 5E0919606, 8" model number 5E0919605M - for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you woulkd like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  18. Nope, these key generate different code, so pushing NAV in 5E0919605M & 5Q0035840C will just show message "Function not supported". PM sent
  19. I have seen couple of cases where FEC/SWaP codes became invalidated...
