  1. And unfortunately I don't have a solution for you either 😞
  2. I'm sorry I have no firmware for your unit 😞
  3. You have to replace SSD first then just insert the CD-R with SW burned
  4. Just make sure disk is PATA (IDE), not SATA. Disk is used ONLY for maps, music and POI, it does NOT contain any firmware (despite some language files which are not so relevant).
  5. I don't have a link to maps, sorry. Sure it was a typo, corrected
  6. Burn the image, insert disc with unit on and ignition off, it will start the update automatically. Update takes approx. 45 minutes. However, if the disc is broken then SW upfgrade may fail and then you will need to replace it. Your unit is equipped with 30GB or 32GB IDE SSD 2.5" drive. It's not easy to find a replacement but you can use also bigger disc, e.g. 128GB (this is the cheapest one I found on ebay). Replacement is not very hard but will require the unit to be completely disassemblied. On th eother hand, in such case you can also think about replacing the unit with MIB STD2 PQ unit and then use navigation via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay - however this is quite expensive option (approx 800 EUR) so makes sense only if the car will be used for next few years.
  7. I can deliver a complete set, pls share your VIN in PM.
  8. @austin986 you have MIB1 unit which has low resultion (400*240) display unit. ALthough I have seen some AA/CP modules that can work with such resultion nut trust me - it's not a good idea. I suugest retrofit with MIB2 unit, both glove box and siplay, and in your case also Media In to be replaced with USB
  9. Need scan from VCDS or any other diagnostics tool dedicated for VAG.
  10. Burn firmware image on CD-R, not DVD-R
  11. If you had maps on disk drive then probably it is broken or corrupted... First of all, upgrade firmware to 6276 - I will send you link in PM - and then install maps from DVD (I beleive you will get some link to the image)
  12. MIB2. Possible but APP button will not work (requires firmware at least 03xx).
  13. I have no clue as I don't know SW versions of your modules, at least gateway, infotainment unit and PDC/PLA controller.
  14. Just switch to AM radio and then switch the ignition off
  15. If you share VIN then I can list your options
  16. These units are NOT covered with any security code but with component protection technology. Patching means firmware in the unit must be modified todisable component protection in HMI and enable all the feature.
  17. MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 (1440) - I sent you download link on PM
  18. MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0369T - I sent you link on PM
  19. Remove the whole panel (as far as I remember there are no screwa so just pull it out) and then you will be able to have it dismantled and cleaned. In th eworst scenario yu can but a second hand one and replace it by yourself, its not covered with component protection.
