How does it compare to the Kia now?

MTC Intercooler, AEM watermeth v3 kit (80/20 mix), NGK Race Plug R7438-8, Airtec big boost pipe kit, apr boost tap, Trackslag downpipe, new fuel injectors 0 261 500 01H, ttv4 turbo, ramair jetstream intake kit, vis hpfp, ( lpfp bought but not required for the superb), millers 5/40 oil and coolant, then mapping.

I've no idea what the timings are, sorry, but it is a bit fast. Modified by Ares tuning in Chester, and mapped by Unicorn in Stockport

The rears that came on my 280 sportline combi (non dcc) are 3Q051115AC The fronts are 5Q0411105HE I have chosen eibach front F11-85-043-02-FA , but i cant decide which rears to choose, as i do a bit of towing. I am after stiffening up, that's all. I've narrowed it down to eibach R10828 or F11-79-008-01-HA. Which would be the best? I mistakenly bought a pair of R21706, and these are good 30mm too tall for me, so if anyone wants to make me an offer........ Thanks

Yes. Tvs stage 3 was done when i went stage 2 ecu Thats my engine tuning days done for life! Just got to order the correct rear eibach springs, as the ones i ordered were an inch too tall. 😠

Any updates on your stage 3 Roscio? Is it still running ok?

4H0133246J is the part, but i couldn't find the part number for the spring most annoyingly. Oh, and the backbox has to be dropped to get at the bolts to undo the the part. It's a right faff. In the end I changed backboxes altogether and did away with valves as they're pointless imo.

I had the same problem. The spring inside the valve box had snapped. The buzz comes from the motor trying to spin the spring, which in turn shuts/opens the flap. In my case, the motor timed out after 4 minutes of unsuccessful operation. I couldn't find anywhere selling the springs on their own. Make sure you're sat down when looking at the price of a replacement unit.

Is that the front springs or rear? Are the rear ones colour coded?

Is there a part number on those rears please? Can't see it on mine 😞

There's a thread about 190 fuel consumption. Today on my trip to turbo technics I thought I would see what I could get. I shan't be doing this again. After visiting TT, I went to see fellow forumeer Awe Sam so that we could compare my stage 2 to his stage 3. All I can say is that he's convinced me to do it. Mine may have the bark, but his has got the bite! Awe Sam by name, awesome by nature 👍

To add to the confusion, my front springs have a yellow and brown sticker on them. There’s no other markings on them. I wAs hoping for a part number stamped on them, but no, nothing. The rear springs have no markings on them whatsoever. ****ed off is an understatement.

The Eibach shop advertises E10 79 012 04 22 as lowering springs. Is this because it lowers all models that aren't sportline? I want to stiffen my 280 sportline combi without lowering it, so am i looking at the right springs? Thanks

Get the koni's all round. My sportline came with monroe shockers as standard. I've got 2 words to describe them...

Oh No. so who are you going to trust to map your new turbo, and which turbo will it be?

i had mine sourced and fitted by clp automotive in sheffield, but im quite sure awesomegti in Irlam could sort you out.

I tow a caravan, and these shockers (with sportline springs) are a godsend for towing. Do it 👍

I fitted mine a few days ago. I’m running on the green, with 3 red leds. No need for launch control now 🙂

I’d scoff at paying that for those. Why not remove the springs inside each unit and connect them back up to see if the motors are trying to run. Without the springs in, the motors will run for 3 or 4 minutes after the car has been locked, but it will prove a point because you can hear them trying to open and shut. Btw, I’ve replaced my back boxes and am running without flaps. The wires are just bagged and tied up out the way, and I’ve not had any warning lights come on in the 5 months it’s been like that. Hope this helps.

JBS is only a few miles from me. It would be interesting to find out what they've done to other superbs, as I can't find any info on them. The words used on a review of their handy work a few weeks ago weren't too kind.

There’s no after market part for this. You would have to visit an exhaust specialist to have one made
