Kodiaq Edition - is there a demand
Apparently there still is a 5 seater available that can tow 2300/2500kg But is only available in SE trim and has the 2.0 150 engine with DSG and is 4x4. Also not much help to you, but the new 2.0 tdi 200HP engine seems to filtering its way into the lineup, but none with the towing capacity you required.

Enjoy your test drive, you won’t be disappointed.- poor demisting
The previous Yeti had the wires in the screen, the Kodiaq has the metallic film type.- Kodiaq Edition - is there a demand
You’ve left it a bit late, if you thinking of another. You should have been asking your dealer what equity you’d have as a deposit on a new car as it could take more than 3 months to arrive. Wouldn't think paying the bubble payment then selling later would be of any benefit. I’ve got another year to go on mine, but at the moment I’m thinking of paying the balloon payment and keeping it.- Considering a kodiaq with high mileage
Poor supposition again, the 7 seater IS available with a towbar. The only model you can’t fit a towbar to,as Skoda messed up the homologation, is the2.0 150 Diesel 7 seater with manual gearbox. Yet to see any evidence of the 7 seat Kodiaq having a bad reputation for having such hard springs giving a poor ride. Perhaps you’ll suggest fitting 15” steel wheels as a remedy as you seem to do in every other of your posts- Considering a kodiaq with high mileage
Well, I actually have a 7 seater and would class the above post as utter rubbish.- poor demisting
The heated screen in my previous Yeti and current Kodiaq clear/ melt snow/ ice in about 1 min. Far less time than it would scraping by hand.- Unknown wires in boot
This cropped up in the Kodiaq section a while back, and while some plausible answers were given it was was never really solved.- Errors after Battery replacement
Should clear after driving a few yards/ metres.- Steering issue
I think all current Skoda's have electric power steering system and therefore don’t have any fluid that requires changing.- Radio changed channel
I have the Columbus in my Kodiaq which has gesture control, so if you wave your hand in front of the screen it will scroll through the radio stations. Perhaps yours is the same and is picking up your hand moving in front of the screen.- Any thoughts on 2.0TSI?

“The services can be used for one or three years, with renewal options available”. I have the updated app and I currently have all the functionality that I had for the first free year. The second year I made the mistake of paying £100 for the privilege and I also had to provide and pay for a data sim. If it transpires that they are going to make you pay a subscription for this I certainly won’t be paying for this rubbish. The “new” Myskoda app also doesn’t have my service history that my old app had.- Skoda U.K. announces new My Skoda app

The 2.0 tdi 150 4x4 7 seater with manual gearbox is not homologated for towing and cannot have a towbar fitted.- Scala SEL checklist on start-up
I’ve never had any problems of windows misting with ac on and auto selected on my current Kodiaq, previous 2 Yetis and Octavia. As to the DSG once you master feathering the brake pedal, you have as much control over the stop/start as you have in a manual. ie if you stomp on the brake the car will stop and engine stop. Its also worth noting if you twitch the steering wheel when the traffic in front moves or you see a space the engine will re start.- Brake energy recovery - How does it work?
Charge Management & Regenerative Braking (Micro hybrid 2) Charge Management It is likely that vehicle owners would not be aware of the installation of this technology as its operation is seamless, unlike Stop/Start which is clearly detectable as the engine stops if all system operating conditions are fulfilled when the vehicle comes to rest When the alternator is running it can typically consume up to 10% of the power produced by the engine. The charge management system effectively switches off the charging system by disconnecting the alternators drive from the engine. This increases the loads placed on the battery but significantly improves the fuel economy of the vehicle The major fuel economy benefits of a charge management system are achieved on longer distance journeys. The use of this system shows that one technology alone is not the solution to every drive cycle but is important as part of an overall package of emission reduction and economy initiatives The life expectations of the battery are greatly increased as it is supporting all of the electrical loads on the vehicle when the charge management system is operating The introduction of charge management systems has resulted in the development of new battery technologies and designs with increased performance. These include EFB and AGM battery types which have a significantly better cyclic life and improved operation in low states of charge Regenerative Braking Regenerative Braking systems recover the energy normally converted into and lost as heat during vehicle braking. When available the recovered energy is fed back into the charging system to recharge the battery A conventional technology battery is very inefficient when utilized in in a regenerative braking system. This type of battery is only able to reuse approximately 5 to 15% of the recovered energy due to its relatively high internal resistance. New battery technology developments such as EFB and AGM with reduced internal resistances provide more efficient use of the recovered energy.- Map Update
I’m sure the usb stick had to be formatted fat 32 on older systems.- poor demisting
Do you have a sunroof, plenty posts on here, there are also posts on poor windscreen seals causing water leaks.- How many gears does the Karoq DSG 4x4 Diesel have?
Do diesels not hold on to a lower gear when trying to regen. If it’s only done short journeys surely this could be the answer. - Considering a kodiaq with high mileage
