  1. It is certainly much easier to spec a factory fit tow bar. Having a tow bar retrofitted requires quite a bit of work, some require extra cooling mods, and also has to be coded to the vehicle, and I believe on MY 21 this is proving a headache. Also you say a 2.0 TDI, it’s worth noting that the 2.0 150 tdi manual is not homologated for tow bar fitting
  2. Take it you missed this picture with useful sizes in my post then..
  3. If you have DSG don’t press the brake pedal so hard.
  4. One press of the lock button on the remote engages the deadlock ( safelock) .

You must be pushing down on the gear stick and selecting reverse when you think your going into 1st. If you do inadvertently select reverse the PDC should come up on the display and you should also hear a bleep.
  6. When changing over my summer/ winter tyres and the boot is open for a long period the boot lights, ( haven’t checked if my interior lights come on with the boot open yet ) stay on for about 5 mins then go out with the boot still open. My previous Yeti did the same.
  7. Forgive me but D M Keith are a Skoda dealer that should adhere to the Skoda National Price servicing shown in my post above. If they don’t find a dealer that does.
  8. Skoda service prices are quite clear to see, there shouldn’t be any “ surprises “
  9. So you will require to pay for brake fluid change and mot over and above 3rd service and spark plugs, mot and air con service over and above what your plan covers for 4th service.
  10. I find removing the headrest and putting it in facing backwards allows our high-back booster seats to sit on the seat properly.
  11. As above some of the settings are key specific. ie. If you set mph using 1 key then that key should remember settings and default to mph when using that key. If the other key hasn’t been used when mph, or any other settings selected then it won’t default to mph, or any other options selected when that key is used.
  12. Are you perhaps using different keys. Some settings are key specify.

It’s a reminder that if you leave someone in the car, and you lock the doors the deadlocks are deployed and they won’t be able to get out using the interior handles.
  14. Surely the garage you are buying from will do that for you. When I went to pick my car after it’s service, the inside touch points were all disinfected, as were the outer door handles.
  15. And there’s a few more in the Yeti projects section.
  16. Yours if faulty then and best get it looked at.
  17. As all comments above, the system works well if you act on a warning and reset the system after taking action. Mine warned me of this with only a slight deflation recently.
  18. Google car trim plugs and I’m sure you’ll find something suitable to fill the holes.

On the contrary, if you check tyre rim width guides 6” wide rims should have a maximum 205 width tyre fitted, 7” rims are suitable for 195-225 width tyres, so are totally suitable for having 215 tyres fitted.

The narrower 16” wheels are probably to allow snow chain fitting on the Karoq. If you have no intentions of fitting snow chains 16x 7 “ wheels from a Yeti fit just fine, my son has my previous Yeti winter wheels on his Karoq.
  21. The boot light and the re chargeable torch light in the boot come on when the tailgate is opened, why do you want the interior lights on also?
  22. £300 + is about the right price for an AGM battery. As above will require coding when replaced. Are you positive, excuse the pun, your +ve terminal is on the left. Normally the -ve terminal is nearest the bulkhead when fitted.

How does mist in the headlights confuse the light sensor that’s mounted on the windscreen?
  24. Suppose it’s easy enough to check yourself, put wiper in auto position and pour some water on sensor.
