  1. If your car has stop/ start you may have to have the car coded to accept the new battery.
  2. Unless your multimeter has a dedicated battery test position that adds a resistor into the measuring circuit then you are not getting an accurate reading by just measuring the battery voltage on a normal volts dc range.
  3. Are you saying you have the engine running when carrying out these mods, and not just the ignition on as is normal.
  4. A genuine copy of VCDS, which is now version 20.4 might help.
  5. If you’ve came from a traditional old school fluid auto, mastering the DSG gearbox will take a bit of practice. You’ll soon adapt to feathering the brake pedal once moving and soon master manoeuvring in tight spaces.
  6. My only experiences of DSG going downhill are that if you brake it changes down, if you brake hard on a steep incline it changes down a few more gears to provide engine braking. If you don’t touch the brake pedal it stays in a high gear. Then you have the choice of the eco/ coasting option.
  7. If you need to use a genuine Skoda card for maps then you have the Amundsen unit not Columbus which this post is for.
  8. Looks like oil temp anywhere in the white section ( 103°C) is fine, red to the left too cold, red section to the right too hot.
  9. The temp gauge on the dash is water temperature and normally sits at 90°C it is also normal for the oil temperature to read higher. The highest I ever saw on my previous Yeti was 118° C
  10. Your Golf with All season tyres would easily outperform a Karoq 4x4 on summer tyres in winter conditions. 4x4 on summer tyres in snow, just means you have the possibility of spinning 4 wheels, and when trying to stop is no advantage at all.
  11. You can tell from the light switch if the headlights are on or off.
  12. The solid Yeti parcel shelf stored neatly behind the rear seats when not in use, does the Karoq shelf not do this?
