  1. Earlier VAG gearboxes had the crown wheel rivetted onto the pinion and the rivets failed leading to this sort of damage but they switched to bolted crown wheels to avoid this however on my old Polo I had a bolt break loose and punched it's way out of the casing

    I started to read the "hybrid handicap" rules and if I read them right you got so many boosted laps depending on how many laps the race was ? Just go back to the success ballast system it worked well with some cars even performing better when they were running with some ballast

  19. If you look at the picture it shows the 3 connections from the Hall sensor connected to give a 2 wire output, the supply voltage and the "Hall voltage (square wave signal?)"

  21. The last ABS sensor I dismantled had zero electronics in it just a coil wound around a metalic core, the system looks for a change in the magnetic flux as the sender wheel passes the sensor so inducing a voltage pulse
  22. Black/Yellow is normally a supply wire not a ground/negative, ground/signal grounds are normally Brown, Brown/white, Brown/yellow
  23. If you haven't already, I'd delete all the fault codes and then use it for a day or two and then re-scan and see if any of the codes return
