  1. Mine is a 2016 150 manual with 52k miles, L&K leak free. Under its 5 year warranty I had LHR wheel sensor replaced and a new Amundsen2 unit. Local use under 15 miles we use the Fiat 500. On the spreadsheet from new, 52.8 mpg. Just replaced all glow plugs as No.3 (with the sensor) failed. 7000 miles between AdBlue fills. Universal VAG engine, under the Skoda oil filler cap it says VW and many leads in the engine compartment have Audi/VW identifiers. For us two oldies, a great euro cruiser and apart from the little things above, problem free.
  2. Thank you everyone for your suggestions (indeed, Fiat 500 for local journeys) Will see what revisit to garage throws up on Monday
  3. 52000 miles, Euro 6, 150. All new filters (air, pollen, oil and fuel) last year. Kept on driveway and no Le&Ks. Petrol Fiat used for local journeys. Last week, this warning light continued to show after starting. Monday, local independent (we have used for 20+ years) found 4 fault codes. P13D600 - Sensor for internal pressure of cylinder 3 implausible signal P2B8300 - Charge air cooler pump 'A' over speed/air in system P67400 - Cylinder 4 glow plug circuit P16C600 - Heater support pump dry running Codes cleared, all levels checked, road tested, no reoccurrence. Tuesday morning, 35 miles to Brighton, no reoccurrence. Parked all day and on starting, to return home, warning light reappears and stays on. No changes to tick-over speed, performance or fuel economy. However, unaware of recent regeneration. Today, Wednesday, warning light stays on after starting. Independent to review fault codes again next week but meanwhile, "What does the Team think?" Thank you.
  4. Well, sorry you have had problems but our Yeti has always lived outside for seven years (sun, rain, snow & frost) and we have never suffered any water ingress. I'm starting to think there must be something wrong with the car!
  5. At the Bedgebury National Pinetum near us, no Yetis but there was one of these
  6. re 2 NEW DESTINATION Presuming COUNTRY set to UK, In the address field, tap PSTCD and when prompted, enter the postcode in CAPS with no space, ie AB16 3CD is entered as AB163CD Should enable new destination calculation to the flagged position , defined by the post code, in the small map pop up
  7. Bexhillian posted a topic in Skoda Yeti

  8. as a first eliminator (but depends on your maxidot options) Maxidot Light & Vision Rear wiper Activate/Deactivate rear window wiping (see what happens then) and this one is a bit left field.. Manual page 71 The rear window is wiped once automatically if the windscreen wipers are on when reverse gear is selected (maybe this happens if the windscreen wiper controls are set to 'Automatic' and you start the car to reverse down your driveway?)
  9. My armrest (2016 L&K) is cushioned. If yours is similar, not sure any paint will be flexible enough.
  10. Under my lift-up floor, there is the spare tyre, with the rest of the space taken by the moulded polystyrene storage boxes. Removing the boxes reveals access to the AdBlue tank filler cap only. Nothing else is visible and the lower steel floor has no obvious element that can be easily removed. Similarly, there is nothing removable within the plastic side boot storage moulding.
  11. Maybe tomorrow A new romance No more sorrow But that's the chance You gotta take If your lonely heart breaks Only the lonely
  12. Which model type is yours? If you have Bi-Xenon headlights, the answer could be different to the non Bi-Xenon headlight answer. No doubt a "lights expert" will be along shortly to shed more light and with some bulb brand recommendations.
  13. Chapeau !
  14. As TruckBus UK....My 2016 L&K lives permanently leak-free on my drive. It is such an ideal car for our needs (but using the little Fiat for local trips) that if the roof ever began to leak, I would just apply clear helicopter tape over the joins and remove the fuse to the 'open/close roof ' circuit. Still polishes up beautifully after nearly seven years and definitely a keeper.
  15. You might also try speaking to Ant on 07979723977. He is in Tipton, West Midlands and has received good reviews for his Amundsen2 screen repairs.
  16. You could try calling Ant on 07979723977. He's in West Midlands and does a repair service on Amundsen2 units and last I read, he had Amundsen2 screens. He has had v.good reviews here and on YOC.
  17. Pleased that your CD issues mostly solved. However, I am sure that I'm with many others who were waiting for news of your engagement with the services of the attractive young lady living next door.
  18. ......trouble is that from the drivers position, it appears to be coming from the passenger side but to the passenger it's on the drivers side! Not just us then? Occasional rattle over bumps. Me, driving, "it's somewhere above your left shoulder" SWMBO, passengering, "no, it's somewhere under the steering wheel" Seems to have disappeared now that we are driving with roof sun blind closed. I have obviously avoided any comments such as, "so maybe I was right?"
  19. 'unable hold a preset' was one of the first failures on my Amunsden2, shortly followed by insistence that my home location was a carpark in Dunkirk when I switched on the satnav. Remedy - complete new system from Skoda UK under hard fought 5th year warranty claim. Although not close to you, You might like to give Satnav Systems (UK) Ltd a ring, 0808 222 0000. They have received positives from YOC members with Amundsen2 problems.
  20. I have an RGM Rearguard in black which matches the other black trims on my brown yeti. Installed in 2016, hasn't moved and lives outdoors with an occasional wipe over with black cherry blossom. Highly recommended.
  21. Christmas tree lights for me! NSR ABS Sensor failure was replaced under my 5 year warranty. The Amundsen 2 unit was also replaced under same warranty, following separate issues. However, the sunroof has never leaked, although the car has lived outdoors uncovered, since April 2016.
  22. Shome mishtake shorely, Mish Moneypenny? Your E10 fuel delivers a decreased mpg
  23. Me too, Urrell., as I don't have the 'fold-flat-forwards' option (although I realise this doesn't help the OP as he may indeed have the "f-f-f" option himself) I seem to have become highlighted?
  24. I had a sudden 'Christmas tree' of six orange lights, driving on the M40. A bit alarming for a mechanical dunce! AA Patrol at nearest M'Way Services read the codes and declared safe to proceed with journey. Subsequently over the next two days, the lights cycled off and then back on again. Failed NSR ABS Sensor. replaced under warranty.
  25. My Amundsen2 started its descent to failure by repeatedly showing me parked in Dunkirk. The touchscreen subsequently became less and less driver controlled, changing stations, tracks and map size randomly, before at four and a half years old, Skoda UK replaced the complete unit. Water ingress at the aerial was never suggested and the car has sat outside since new. However, I hope your problem is only car wash related and the water gremlin is soon banished. Auf Wiedersehen, pet!
