  1. Cheaper RFL stopped on 1st April 2017, so you need one before this date. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. Normal engine protection. Any warning lights? Is the engine running normally? What is your normal MPG then? When were the Spark plugs changed? Presume this is a 1.0 TSI. 16K is very little mileage for a 2019 car. Thanks. AG Falco
  3. In the photo I can see what looks like two reflectors , but can only see the top of the outer bulb. The bulb looks like the end of either an H7 or an H4. I can't see enough of the bulb to confirm, hence why I asked for a photo. There is still the possibility that the second reflector could use an H1 bulb. These can be used for main beam which is normally the in the inner position. HTH Thanks. AG Falco
  4. Get them to check with TPS on what oil's are listed for your engine. Thanks. AG Falco
  5. My VW UP had it's first service last month on a VW service plan. The car is recommended to use 0W-20, VW 508 / 509. Did manage to get them to use VW 504 / VW 507 oil though. This is a better oil to use long term and is a 5W- 30 C3 oil and not the usual VW 508 / VW 509 0W-20 C5 oil. They did ask a few questions but I took some printed information in with me just in case. After explaining, all good and without invalidating the warranty. Thanks. AG Falco
  6. Done that to one of mine with OBDeleven. Thanks. AG Falco
  7. Skoda manual pages 186 to 190 for headlight bulbs. H8 are for the front fog lights if you have them. Thanks. AG Falco
  8. It's even easier than that. Look at you headlight units. If you only have 1 bulb and one reflector each side, you have 2 H4 bulbs, and the bulbs have 3 connectors on the back. If you have two bulbs and two reflectors each side , you have 4 H7 bulbs , and the bulbs have 2 connectors on the back. Some Fabia's ( like mine ) have one projector on the outside and one reflector on the inside. The projector one has a big lens in front of the bulb and you can't see the bulb, this is for dipped beam. The inner reflector one is for main beam. HTH Thanks. AG Falco
  9. But the warning light should come on when you turn the ignition on to demonstrate that the warning light works. It then self tests just the system ( not the pressures ) and should then go off unless you have a fault. Thanks. AG Falco
  10. Fabia III's can come with H4, or H7 headlights from the factory. The H7's were a cost option when I ordered mine. Thanks. AG Falco
  11. Tyre pressures are not checked on start up as the TPMS system is passive. You need to start driving the car for it to notice a problem with low pressures. Thanks. AG Falco
  12. Was wondering if there is a software problem / tailgate latch that is draining the battery. Had one car where the soft touch boot release button was stuck in the ' to open the boot ' position. This in turn drained the battery. @Throw_Rope Do you lock the car when it is not being used? Thanks. AG Falco
  13. If the tailgate latch thinks that the boot lid is open it will turn on the boot light which will flatten your battery. As I said before:- Try the page button then use the scroll wheel? Thanks. AG Falco
  14. Want a photo of the bulbs. Look like H7's? If so just use these:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FXRDJV7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Thanks. AG Falco
  15. Check if the OBDeleven one will do it? https://obdeleven.com/supported-vehicles?BMW Probably cheaper than BMW would charge you to change the brake fluid. 😀 Thanks. AG Falco
  16. I have this one:- https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tj3x-3-ton-trolley-jack Works well for me. It is cheaper to order direct than through ebay. Thanks. AG Falco
  17. I have four 15 x 6 inch wheels? PM me for more info. Thanks. AG Falco
  18. If it is a 2013 Fabia then it is a MK II ? The engine doesn't look like a MK III TSI. Thanks. AG Falco
  19. If you have the 4 x H7 headlamp type unit then:- You want to remove the rear bulb rubber covers from the dipped beam bulbs. These are the outer two which are almost under the wing. Then look for the small silver lever. Are your photos of the inner two main beam bulbs? Thanks. AG Falco
  20. So, less than 1%. Don't forget that the larger wheels/tyres will also increase you fuel consumption. Thanks. AG Falco
  21. Yes. No. 5W-30 C3 is an option! My 2023 UP had it's first service 2 weeks ago. 5W-30 C3 is an option to fit to my car, when it lists 0W-20 C5 as recommended. I asked them to fit the 5W-30 C3 oil. They did double check with me before doing it. ( I took some info in with me. ) They did note this on the invoice/worksheet. I have also changed the oil sticked under the bonnet to note the oil now fitted. All good. Thanks. AG Falco
  22. Does it look like this:- https://www.stevensvwspares.com/vw-up-air-con-pipes/1-0-air-condenser-pipe Thanks. AG Falco
  23. A lot of diesels need priming first. Some are right Ba rds to do. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. If you put your car in any gear ( except 5th ) with the ignition on but the engine not running, will it tell you what gear you are in? Thanks. AG Falco
