You DON'T have the type of headlight unit that you have circled. You have the 4 H7 headlight projector bulb type units with the LED DRL / side lights. The two inner ones that you can see are the main beam ones in the reflector. The two outer ones are behind the projector lens are the two dipped beam ones. You cannot see the bulbs from the front of the car. You need to remove cover E to get to the dipped beam bulbs. See my finger pointing to the drivers side cover here. These are underneath the wing / bonnet area as opposed to in the engine bay. Thanks. AG Falco

So the two outer H7 bulbs are the dipped ones, and the two inner H7 bulbs are the main beam bulbs. Have you tried to swap the dipped bulb with the main beam bulb? Is there any voltage in the double connection for the outer dipped beam bulbs? Thanks. AG Falco

Ninth Service and sixth MOT done last week. MOT is good with no advisories. Last years advisory was for the front lower suspension arm rear bushes which I have already replaced. Have noticed some bad wear on the drivers footwell carpet mat in two places. Going to have to ask the driver ( me ) to start lifting his heels of the floor. 😀 Service and Inspection warning reset. Updated service record on Erwin. Scanned for faults none showing. Nothing else noted. Car still good. Thanks. AG Falco

After removing the air filter housing there are 4 black square blocks with one 10 mm bolt and one electrical connector to the side. Remove connector, then remove bolt from metal sleeve in one corner of the block, see above. Pull coil pack straight up. I didn't need any special tools. Spark plug is a long way down a small hole. Correct. OBDELEVEN. I can still turn it on or off with a dedicated switch on the dash, so easy enough. No motorways in any of Dorset. Nearest to me is 45 miles away. Might use it one day. Thanks. AG Falco

Bought a 2023 VW UP last year. This also has the gear change recommendation display which is always suggesting you change up much too early. The same system in my 2018 Skoda Citigo and 2016 Skoda Fabia is more realistic. The lane assist in the UP is on by default whenever you turn the ignition on. But around where I drive ( North Dorset country roads ) it was so annoying/dangerous, I have made it so it now remembers the last state it was in. It has now been off for 4 months. Thanks. AG Falco

This could be brakes, but could also be play in the rear bushes on the lower front suspension arms. Figures look good. A slight thrust angle from the rear axle but well within tolerance. Since it has been pulling from before you had new tyres this would make me think it is not a tyre problem. I have had to replace mine on a 2016 Fabia. The rubber had separated from the metal outer rings. See here:- Does the car drive straight ahead if you hold the steering wheel straight? Do you have a printout of the Alignment results? Were all four tyres exactly the same and with the same correct tyre pressure? Are the lower front arm, rear bushes good? Thanks. AG Falco
