  2. I have a 2016 TSI from new with mileage now up to 73 K miles. It consumed some ( 0.5 Litre ) from new until the first service at 9.4 K miles. Zero oil consumption since then. 62.4 MPG on last tank. About 3.8 L per 100 KM. No problems with the engine at all. Thanks. AG Falco

  4. Laws RTA 1988 sect 42 & CUR reg 32 Tyres. Tyres MUST be correctly inflated to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification for the load being carried. Thanks. AG Falco
  5. The fuel filler cap has a small hole it it to let air in to the fuel tank as it empties. If this is blocked then air will not get in to the fuel tank. What can happen is the fuel pump when working will make the fuel tank shrink. A bit like you blowing in to a crisp bag ( to pop it ) but then sucking the air back out. Has your fuel tank shrunk?   6. I have not disconnected that wire. 1. I will always turn off the stop/start when first starting the car and only put it back on when I think it is required. 2. No, as this makes the alternator behave like a older/ normal one. Thanks. AG Falco

  8. No. I charge my EFB battery regularly with a smart charger, especially during the winter. At 7 years and 73 K miles from new my battery is still showing good when tested. Thanks. AG Falco
  9. Because present batteries will not be at 100% ( by design ) and if the customer could see this they would get worried that the battery ( even when new ) is faulty. Thanks. AG Falco
  10. It has the arrow to show the direction of exhaust flow. Heat shields are not normally flat, they have a small honeycomb type pattern. Thanks. AG Falco

  13. Does it make any difference if you try it the other way? With mine I can change what opens when you push the key fob button via the infotainment system. Have you tried changing that? Or even a reset? Thanks. AG Falco

  17. Do you use the centre button on your key to just open the boot or the bottom button to open everything? Would the fuse cover all the central locking not just the boot? Thanks. AG Falco

  20. This is used instead of using shims. I am up to 73K miles on original brake disks and pads from new but they are now more than half worn. I do remove, clean, regrease and refit them once a year though. Thanks. AG Falco

  23. The do sell spare valve stems as that is where my work get them from. It will be their own part numbers, not OE though. Glad you have it sorted though. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. On some cars you ( A Garage ) can run a test sequence on the ABS Unit which will move all the parts to free up any stuck parts. Normally done at the same time as changing the brake fluid. Thanks. AG Falco
