  4. The normal bolt covers will be a tight fit to stop them coming of at speed. Do you have the bolt cover puller tool? Look for part number 321 601 173, but check the colour you order. Yes you have to older type of Lockers. Newer type are bigger and are like these:- So I think you have been sent these as above. HTH. Thanks. AG Falco

  13. Wipers:- Dash Lights:- Are light sensitive. If the car lights are off then, the lighter it is the brighter they become. If the car lights are off then, the darker it is the darker they become. Thanks. AG Falco

  15. With the engine running put your hand ( inside a thick glove ) over the end of the exhaust. If you have a leak you will hear it / feel it coming out of any other hole in the exhaust. If the exhaust gases pushes at your hand then exhaust is still good. Thanks. AG Falco
  16. Is that a multi skinned exhaust box? I see no black marks indicating an exhaust leak. Is it noisy yet? Thanks. AG Falco
  17. Yes, especially as you have gone from an EFB to an AGM type. Maybe don't use Halfrauds again. Thanks. AG Falco
  18. It's a hard one. From memory, early ones were:- Drums & Shoes on the MPI engines. Disks & Pads on the TSI engines. But at one point you could upgrade the rear brakes from Drums & Shoes to Disks & Pads. 😒 🥺 Go figure. Thanks. AG Falco

  20. Air filter change is listed at 6 Years / 6th service but for me, when you have to take the air filter off to change the spark plugs, I change the air filter at the same time.   21. No. 4 litres for a service & 4.5 litres if the engine is dry. Due every 40K miles / 4th service. Is the car on fixed servicing? Thanks. AG Falco

  23. Leaking from the windscreen washer reservoir / pump / pipe then. Behind the N-S-F inner wheel arch liner. Take N-S-F wheel off first. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. I have a 2016 TSI from new with mileage now up to 73 K miles. It consumed some ( 0.5 Litre ) from new until the first service at 9.4 K miles. Zero oil consumption since then. 62.4 MPG on last tank. About 3.8 L per 100 KM. No problems with the engine at all. Thanks. AG Falco
