  1. You are checking for a saw edge pattern on the inside edges. If they are NOT directional tyres then try swapping them from side to side. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. Rear tyres? Inside Edge? Thanks. AG Falco
  3. Would agree. Thanks. AG Falco
  4. How much fuel in litres did you use? Thanks. AG Falco
  5. Is the direction marker on the dial 180 degrees out? Has the dial been fitted wrong? Thanks. AG Falco
  6. With a smart charger and not connected to the Negative battery terminal? My Stop/Start battery is still good from June 2016 at 73K miles. I would agree with this. Is a 2021 battery still in warranty? Is it an AGM or an EFB battery? Check the top of the battery. Thanks. AG Falco
  7. Is it a Stop/Start Battery and did you charge it on the car? Thanks. AG Falco
  8. I use the 10 BAR compressor at work. Although this wont fit in the back of any of my cars. I have a small 12 volt compressor at home which is fine to just pump the tyres up. Don't rely on the pressure gauge on the compressor though. Thanks. AG Falco
  9. 063 is 175 mm high. 027 is 190 mm high. How high is the present battery? If a bigger one will fit then buy that one. Thanks. AG Falco
  10. Yes. on the S level it was an option. Thanks. AG Falco
  11. Half way down the hinge end of the door by the check strap bar. Thanks. AG Falco
  12. Have you swapped the fuse or has it blown again? Is there any voltage behind the 12V socket? Do you need the ignition on? Thanks. AG Falco
  13. See my posts on 23 April and 24 April above. Thanks. AG Falco
  14. See ALL of this post:- My Fabia III 2016 has 72K miles and the belt still looks good. Thanks. AG Falco
  15. Can you weld them back together using the soldering iron method? Thanks. AG Falco
  16. TPS. Look here:- Mine did, but mine is a facelift version, post 2017. Yes, see above. Thanks. AG Falco
  17. The Suzuki Swift you drove might be a bigger car and have a a bigger / more powerful engine than the Citigo. Which one did you drive? Is the engine full of oil? Heat shield loose? Exhaust getting old? Under bonnet sound absorbing mat can be fitted. See post from 12 Nov 2022 below:- Thanks AG Falco
  18. My TSI Fabia has this feature but my MPI Citigo does not and the Citigo is newer. Thanks. AG Falco
  19. Just did my Fabia's 8th service including spark plugs and air filter. Note, spark plugs are due at 40K miles and air filter at 60K miles. No change to mine. Is this the first car you have had with this anti stall feature? Try applying a small amount of throttle and holding it before you lift the clutch. Thanks. AG Falco
  20. Look OK, but worth doing. Thanks. AG Falco
  21. So don't do this. It sounds like you are not quite used to this feature. It took me a while. 😒 Thanks. AG Falco
  22. MOT done 2 weeks ago. Just an advisory on the front lower suspension arm rear bushes beginning to be worn. No movement in the arm so I will just monitor for now. Eighth Service done today at 72 K miles. A little less milage in the last year than previous years. This included oil and oil filter, air filter, cabin filter and spark plugs. 4 Litres of oil with no top up required between services except before the first service. As usual for me I changed the air filter as you have to take the air filter housing off to do the spark plugs. Battery still good for 7 years old, coolant good and brake fluid good, all tested. Brakes now more than half worn, will need to change them after about 100 K miles from new. Tracking checked but is OK. Tyres wearing well, I now have the same make tread pattern all round. Proving to be a good choice with better wet grip than previous tyres I have had. 5.5 mm on the fronts and 7 mm on the rears. Service and Inspection warning reset. Updated service record on Erwin. Scanned for faults none showing. Nothing else noted. Car still good. Thanks. AG Falco
  23. Try starting to move the car withOUT using any throttle. Note that the car will automatically raise the engine revs when you start to bring the clutch up. This takes good clutch control. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. Anything like this:- Thanks. AG Falco
