I have had my Fabia III 1.2 TSI 90 4 cylinder from new in June 2016. Now at 70,000 miles and still good. Due its 8th service soon. I have posted my service history up on this site. 55 MPG from the last tank, filled up yesterday. Does better than my 1.0 MPI 3 cylinder Skoda Citigo. 😮 I hired a 1.0 TSI 90 3 cylinder in 2019 for 10 days / 1000 miles. Both engines are good, with very little difference between them. Both produce good low down torque. Both sweet engines. Both punch above their weight. Both similar to the Ford Eco boost engine, especially the 3 cylinder TSI. Same engine. The 110PS have the 6 speed gearbox. The road tax changed in April 2017. Before April 2017 they are £20.00 per annum. After April they are £165.00 per annum. The heaviest Fabia III is lighter than the Heaviest Fabia II. Try first. Thanks. AG Falco

Get your Independent to test/check the brake fluid. Doubt it needs doing. Don't waste your money on the fuel treatment. In your bio it has:- Year 2022 Is this the total milage on the car or since you have had it? Thanks. AG Falco

Yesterday the GoGo had it's MOT and 5th Service. MOT straight through with car now up to 44 K miles. 5th service is just a small oil and filter service and a check over, Bosch P7143 oil filter less than a tenner. Needed to buy 20 Litres of oil as I was almost out. The oil I buy will go in all three of my cars so I buy in bulk. Battery still good, brake fluid good and antifreeze/coolant good. Reset Service/Inspection light and updated electronic service record via Skoda Erwin. Will change back to summer tyres in about a month. Car still good. Thanks. AG Falco

You use different oil depending on if you are on Fixed ( Normal ) or Variable ( Flexible ) Servicing regime. Assume these will want doing by next mot in December 2024. Can be 2 hours labour and get the alignment checked after. Asymmetrical tyres fitted the wrong way round. What make are the front tyres? The only problems I have had with the Vredestein tyres in the snow / ice / cold is:- Got to work one day and exited the car then fell straight over on the ice. 😒 Being told: 'If I can't drive my £60k 4x4 up this hill then there is no way your Citigo will get up there.' 😁 Being followed by other cars with them thinking they can drive as fast as me. 1 Range Rover went up the bank to the side of the road. 1 Honda Civic went through a metal fence. You need to make allowances for your ability to stop quicker than any following car. Did drive down one road where the snow was so deep that the front wheels were lifted off the ground. Just start the engine but not drive it, but....... This would suggest the noise is rotational, eg from the transmission, gearbox, wheel bearings, brakes? So maybe this is not it. Does temperature affect it, or distance travelled, or when you turn the steering wheel, or if the brakes are applied? Any other clues? Thanks. AG Falco

Remove aux belt and see if the noise is still there would be my first move. Thanks. AG Falco
