  1. No, 1.2 TSI petrol, as noted under my avatar. My other diesel car is even better on fuel economy.😁😁 Thanks, AG Falco

You can stop the build up of this by regularly swapping the tyres from side to side. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. Steering angle sensor wants to be reset when the alignment and steering wheel is all correct. Is the steering wheel straight? Is both the front and rear alignment correct? Thanks, AG Falco
  7. I would say yes. Photos of a 185 60 15 on a alloy in my boot. The limiting factor for me is the tool kit, not the tyre/wheel width. Thanks AG Falco
  8. Some people might want to use some vulcanising glue in the split. It need to be glue that stays flexible when it dries - tyre puncture repair glue. It helps if the wound is compressed when the glue is drying. Thanks AG Falco

  11. Tyres getting bigger again then. Was that a standard or optional size wheel/tyre? How deep does it go? Any bulges? Thanks AG Falco
  12. Impact damage normally. The Conti has an extra rubber kerb rim protector bump strip. ( which might have done its job ) Can you see any white cords showing inside the split? I would guess that this is a tyre from the OP's Superb and not the Fabia. Thanks AG Falco
  13. Someone at work was complaining at the 25 MPG he was getting. I said I would struggle get twice that with my car and he didn't believe me. I then said I could do better. He bet me I couldn't. And so it went on, Challenge set. 😁 Thanks AG Falco
  14. I made a tool to help with the headlamp removal. It now lives in the boot with the tools. Thanks AG Falco
  15. Yes it fits very tight, you do need to pull hard. I have lost one, no idea how it went missing, possibly from water thrown up when driving. But the really hard bit is next when you try to remove the bulb from it's holder. 😧 You can do it without removing the cover but it is easier as you can see more. There are some helpful posts on this subject in this Fabia III forum. Thanks AG Falco

  20. I have the heated seat switches in my car. Do you want me to try and find the part numbers for you? Then you could ask Skoda Australia. You could quote my chassis number to them to find the part numbers? Thanks AG Falco
  21. My Fabia will warn me if the lights are on if I leave by the Drivers door only. If you find out that the car can warn me if I leave by the passenger door please tell me. Merci. Thanks AG Falco
