  1. Hello, welcome to the forum. 2020 registration would definitely be a FL - I think the change from Mk3 to 3.5 was 2017.
  2. Hello, welcome to the forum. Are you able to source a diagram for the fuel transfer pump? I'd check to see what controls there are in the pump circuit. Failing that, I'd take another good look at the pressure sensor.

I thought there was a reference to a DIY raised trunk floor in the Projects thread a few years back.
  4. TSI on annual servicing - Mannol VW 504-507, previously used Fuchs, same standard.
  5. The only way is to have the DTCs scanned, there are so many faults that can trigger the MIL indicator.
  6. A pair of them is useful.
  7. Hello, welcome to the forum. Have the battery tested first (as suggested by Tilt) - If that tests out OK, check the ABS sensors as suggested by Berisford.
  8. Does the Mk2 Fabia use throttle by wire? Are you able to look at live data for throttle response?
  9. Hello, welcome to the forum. Have you checked the throttle body for possible sticky response?
  10. I still love my manual 2015 1.4, wouldn't change anything apart from wishing I had specced ACC and possibly, heated windscreen.
  11. Are they more the sort who prefer their designer labels to be on the outside by any chance?
  12. Good morning, welcome to the forum. As the MIL indicator can mean a number of faults, you will need to get the DTCs read to narrow down what is wrong. I assume your first vRS had done 200K miles?
  13. It's hard being patient though, isn't it?
  14. The earlier gear changes will most likely be because the turbo comes onto full boost from around 1500 rpm.
  15. Hello Nick, unless I'm misunderstanding you, you should never rest your foot on the clutch pedal - at the very least, doing so will cause unnecessary wear on the release bearing.
  16. Hello, welcome to the forum. There was a post about a year ago with a similar issue - it turned out there was an obstruction lodged in the filler tube; it was the end of a fuel syphon device!
  17. AFAIK genuine Osram vehicle lamps are made in Germany, highly likely that yours are counterfeit. I believe Amazon has a policy against counterfeit products.
  18. Absolutely nothing wrong with your approach if it provides what you need in a vehicle, is reliable and you aren't constrained by LEZ etc. taxes. Your vehicle may even become a classic one day.
  19. It's your money - current recommendation is for a visual inspection annually. There are many references on the Forum regarding cam belt servicing.
  20. ... And yet my MY16 Octavia AC is still operating well, never been touched! Having said that, have I put the Kiss of Death on it now? 😆
  21. Very possibly NOT genuine. Are they made in China by any chance?
  22. Not according to Skoda, they changed their cam belt change interval, to align with the rest of the world, some years ago - unless the vehicle is operating in 'dust-rich' environment - which the UK is not. AFAIK, belt change intervals are now somewhere around 120-140K miles.
  23. If Shi*Fit say AC isn't holding charge, I'd say it's a reasonable guess that there's a refrigerant leak.
  24. I have seen a reference to a failed Air Quality sensor preventing AC from operating.
