Battery problem
If your use of the vehicle is intermittent and/or used for regular short trips, you will very likely encounter frequent issues with automatic idle stop due to insufficient charging from the alternator.

Mk3 Fabia Owners Register
Hello, welcome to the forum. At 87K, your cambelt is not yet due for a change by mileage. It is probably due for a DSG service though. Likely to be a DQ200 box.

Would 003300 Fault code display and engine warning light
Did that confirmation come from an independent scan? Do all the warning indicators light up correctly on pre-start check? Were they possibly historic? I'd suggest simply clearing the current DTCs and see if they return.

Calling @Tonyduncan please can you answer some of the above questions?

1.0 mpi 6 speed transmission conversion
Given that Skoda chose to fit the 6-speed into the 110PS TSI - with the 95PS TSI only getting the 5-speed, I'm not convinced that what you propose is particularly practical. Extra gears usually serve to allow closer ratios between gears - not necessarily to give a taller final gear ratio. AFAIK, even 5th in a 5-speed box gives you a small overdrive ratio. (less than 1-1)

Warning Symbol. 2020 Octavia mk4
Are you able to post a picture of it? As Steve says, likely to be an indication of CellPhone battery status.

Broken boot mechanism
Does this mean that 'SWWBN' has to be especially nice to you for a while? 😁

@Tonyduncan could help himself by answering some of the pertinent questions already asked.

Battery problem
Possibly not a good assumption to make that a one year old alternator or battery in unlikely to be faulty - My Octavia had both replaced at less than a year because they had failed.

Battery problem
The messages that @Stonekeeper is referring to are in the vehicle status display (in the infotainment system) - not on the instrument cluster.

Battery problem
You seem to be saying that you think the alternator is not charging the battery correctly - even though the alternator indicator is extinguishing while the engine is running - is that correct??? - If so, as I posted earlier, you need to check the battery terminal voltage while the engine is running.

Would 003300 Fault code display and engine warning light
I'd say that sounds highly suspicious - if your independent check proves the faults are not present, please report the incident to Carwow as attempted fraud.

Battery problem
OP says battery was charged - not changed.

Battery problem
Sorry - what is the question? Do you think the battery is not being charged correctly by the vehicles alternator - even though the alternator symbol is extinguishing after the engine is started? Do you have a meter you can use to measure the battery terminal voltage while the engine is running?

Would 003300 Fault code display and engine warning light
Hello, welcome to the forum. As you, I'd be a little suspicious - I think either of those faults, if genuine issues, would give some indication. I'd think the P003300 (Turbo bypass valve) would light up the EPC indicator - and possibly force limp mode, and P001600 (Crank or Camshaft position sensor) would cause difficult starting at least. Did you actually see him lift those DTCs? I'd suggest getting your vehicle scanned independently.

emission control warning light.
With you previous low annual mileage, it could well be that the EGR valve needs a removal and clean.
-
emission control warning light.
Possibly turbo boost control. Does the engine go into limp mode? Scan for DTC then clear and see if everything goes back to normal.

Accelerator Pedal click.
I've not particularly noticed it on our Mk3 Octavia or Fabia - but I believe there is a 'kickdown' switch at the lower part of travel for the throttle pedal.

Broken boot mechanism
Welcome to the forum. Probably what has happened is that the catch has moved slightly from rebound with the 'extra' force shutting - take a look at both parts of the catch, they will probably have slotted mounting holes to allow for adjustment.

2.0 tdi oil Consumption
I wouldn't consider slightly more than 1/2 L of oil consumed in 11500 Km to be excessive. Provided the oil is from a reliable supplier and is correct spec, actual brand of oil is unimportant.

Ongoing electrical software issues
If in fact the faults have now been repaired at no cost to you, I don't think you will have valid grounds for rejection. May be different if, despite their claim, the faults are still present.
