  1. yes you could. really would advise not to use the tyre jack...............you would be better popping to halfords and buying a trolley jack
  2. yes it needs coding "unless" it is already coded to your car... not ideal to attempt this without VCDS whats the issues your having to suspect its faulty ?
  3. if you mean number 3 here :- http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2013/drive_standart/697/hg_ug/857/subcategory/857005/part_id/2561819/lang/e#sec_3 It will be around £85 new.

  5. need a piccy that locates it a bit easier, is it on the image attached ? Or is it shown here............ http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2013/drive_standart/697/hg_ug/103/subcategory/103069/part_id/2568949/lang/e#sec_8A
  6. lol you are special !!!
  7. I wrote a response...........................but really cannot be bothered.
  8. If your headlight looks like this.........H4 Looks like this.....H7
  9. You don't need to drill any holes, might do this myself.
  10. Don't see any harm in replacing it at all......
  11. I figured thats what you meant........... heres the bolt / screw https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/n90496802-screw-5-3x22-skoda-39761.html On the flip side, once the old screw is out, you "could" fit any little nut and bolt to hold it.
  12. It probably is not "called" for in the service schedule (but there again neither is autobox oil and we know how that pans out)............. personally I have always changed petrol filters on my cars, done the RS I have now as well. Not sure what screw you mean, can you take a piccy ? or do you mean the screw in the clamp that holds it ?
  13. i maybe looking at this wrong..................but is it not the connecting part sheared off the next section of exhaust.....it's been "stressed" since fitting the new bit and has given up the ghost. You need a new "next" section going back.
  14. then maybe your car is set to a fixed service interval so it wont display anything till its due.
  15. is this just not a case of a tick box using the long coding function of VCDS...........ie ACC fitted or Not fitted ?
  16. have you checked for broken wires in BOTH front doors ?
  17. Dont see how you do this on a Fabia 2, you can offcourse easily duplicate either the reverse OR fog on the other side, but you cannot have both unless you fit additional lamps.
  18. Your "issue" is a bit vague in description to be honest........... If you want help, try and give us as much / more info as possible.........On a side note, most likely broken wires between the door and A pillar inside the door boot.
  19. If your confident in electrical repair, then thats certainly an option, but the limiting factor is space to be able to do a proper repair. "if" you decide to replace. a new loom is approx £85 ish from dealer.............failing that a good used one. I have my old one on Ebay now if your interested, I replaced it to retro-fit rear electric windows.
  20. they are called "noid"..... Part number is 5J0601025AC Brand new one here open to offers.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-FABIA-2011-2015-AND-ROOMSTER-2011-2015-ALLOY-WHEEL/265085691365?hash=item3db856a5e5:g:caQAAOSw22RgS2Em
  21. Spanner is a service due remininder. can be reset.... this video should help Reverse sensors, does it beep or anything at all ? ............if they are factory fitted items then the vehicle needs pluging in to diagnose the fault. "none of the ways from dash or radio read out on screen work" <----- not sure what you mean by this statement ?
