  1. personally always found polybushes make the ride more harsh, just not as good as rubber......but lasts longer, as always its trade off. I would fit neither.
  2. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for in anything, and as the tyre is what keeps you attached to the road, I don't understand people who fit cheap tyres. As you say the Avon is a mid range tyre, I would tend to lean towards a higher end tyre, the michelin pilot sport 4 is looking fav at the moment, I have had michelin pilots on a few cars over the years and they were really good in grip and wear. Also looking at Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 5 The conti's I have on now are far to noisy on the rear.........
  3. yeah eyes are fine thx, just missed it wasn't paying "that" much attention was on the blower at the time, my bad..... can see the chords now, not a great photo either tbh.....hey ho....was close to a blow out really....spotted just in time. I did say it needed tracking though
  4. check the wiring between the door and the A-pillar, not uncommon for breakages in that area,
  5. whatever the cause, get it tracked as soon as the new tyres are fitted. They do look more worn in the centre which would also point to over inflation. I'm about to fit 4 new tyres, after seeing this I don't think the Avons will be on the list now, even with poor tracking, 3000miles really is nothing......
  6. RNS 315 or RNS 510 with Bluetooth. Factory units, does all what you want and far better than ching ching android units!!
  7. broken wires in drivers door loom between door and A pillar under the rubber bellow / grommet.
  8. This is the one you need (assuming its a hatch) 5J6955425B It is 11" long, often the dealer is the best place for those "special" wipers, especially rears. heres a valeo part, which is most "likely" OEM https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine-VALEO-Windscreen-Wiper-Blade-574299-Top-Quality/202993444663?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2f435a2737:g:rpwAAOSwAaJaELoU&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACYBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%2Fn%2BzU5L90Z278x5ickkrmmq8hWevtuKE7%2F%2BLfVXtnQnje%2FnOJ6cQrFRFjMpBlXr642lfX5QluzvuIzt5xnENK6QeG40WvACbXCtkM9kSs54madWQTDf9aH2LhyG7JdVR9kwvHo1BMmnTiBlmAeIh9BRGKGVPFgRibz5wyjKyLZ%2BekJUIeccSpr%2BinNu%2Bu2rq4rfHez2EXe7qiG63FaiZNcrbjGi07A3g0F971DHZqY%2FE5mKuBqByc6jRX2dz5OQPs%2Bdou0lNei3m1W5bmSmiaH2WDpEqHRQxYQudW6EMVcucBS5gCVG%2F5eWrG33kg3wLLeMxd0fRTuslWMrdqrzSgg5IEhi%2Fh9sx3%2FUwrhAMd83zr%2FMXTFc75c06eJn9eRHZG9t9L8PCzDT6TZzC8JOTOKSk7tVIirHrnQzO8FTmN9qlgDLdxBzaAWpZygCRXOSpW9XbQQTX7cqY6DYYn99i2ZKSRIw84qZDIEGLUMhb7QgvR6dYEjKelMZOV%2FpmIlPCxn%2FBKUOG%2BbnxHZFu4SVn1T%2F2AdcxUbk7c20XmwhTi2J7vR50fhyvGmYyCbXJOOW%2B6MP90a4qUPfWxDqnsHJGLWteoqnnrdEK5fjbuCYiVXSnVH9b0uvH7r4y4IVtnlsGYfzMZCPjVUHiM%2BEMFsJR59hCdqAMB3OlclkBaeiJoynqpwEep1mdI91vpZtMMLFVnokDVsC7u0Hggu2qmyTuegVgePGo%2BRpZMXRSwGxNgKZ2RJIQ8bBuHO0v%2B1CS%2FY2XR45%2Bx2rXE8vJTM%2FBqWM|cksum%3A202993444663a9f2086aaa824ab78186c8a275e721da|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2334524
  9. Broken wires in the drivers door jam (inside the loom boot) most likely.
  10. Thats well over priced !!.... I ordered the most "complex" loom (when I did rear electric window retrofit) and that was less than £95 from the dealer.
  11. I always use here for batteries https://www.tayna.co.uk/
  12. If you can do "basic" 12volt wiring, then should be no issue. It really depends on the equipment and year of your car and if the unit comes with the correct ISO lead. On the flip side, you could get a factory RNS 315 for similar money and you won't hate it after 6 months of use.
  13. If you intend to get the donor car to fit rear electric windows, then the rear speaker crossovers will have to be moved.
  14. I agree, take it back and get them to confirm, ideally show you.
  15. I detailed it here :- http://www.fabiavrs.com/Fabia VRS MkII Side light mod.htm
  16. we could not possibly know all of which needs to be there as all vehicles are different. The link "you" posted has a good list of equipment and what it should be. REF the vehicle dying, could be signs that the battery and OR the alternator is dying / died.
  17. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/1633594876
  18. bit of condensation at this time of year is expected to be honest, most modern car lamps do it Does it clear when they have been on ?
  19. EDIT........... Its the Chrome bonnet finisher which the badge is on............... Clip Part number is 5J0853139A
  20. what trim is it ? dont recognise it........
  21. Ideally plugging into diagnostics to see where the fault is. Most "likely" is a sensor gone down, but you need to know which.
