Change the key battery!
I was unable to put fully 2032 battery under this little tooth properly, but it worked, was able to put cover back holding the battery strong enough. Anyway, half-solved isn't my cup of tea, so I've replaced it with 2025 eventually.

1.5Tsi manual: still kangarooing when cold
Yes. January 2021. It also has interesting whooshing noise from the gearbox. Disappear after clutch depress. We haven’t bother fixing it. Throttle is anyway quite strange in low rpm, has an extremely long lag on command. Kangarooing must have been somehow related. It is much less pronounced when AC off.

Amunsden system no power to the display and box in the glove box
Have you checked the fuse visually, or with a multi-meter? Eliminate simple issues first, fuse, wiring, etc. Maybe there is additional protection fuse in the devices internally?

Bosch Battery life - 5 years?
My lasted 4,5 years, but didn't show much symptoms, they detected on the regular annual service. New one brought a big difference in start and stop - I don't even recall that the car was working like that since it was delivered. If dashcam starts on ignition, it is connected properly to the fuse which is off when car is shut down, and is not a reason of your issue. Could be that more power consumption now just has shown better the existing issue.

I’m an idiot - help. Rounded bolt!
Maybe you don't need to remove caliper? I have managed to pull out the stone through the wider part of this metal protection behind the disc, if I remember position correctly. This is the place where it entered probably as well and cannot let itself out, as it falls to the bottom where space between disc and metal is tight.

1.5t dsg jerking from a cold start.
Our O4 1.5 is also jerky on cold, but it’s manual. I heard there was some software update, but dealer has no clue. I don’t know if you refer to the same issue 1.5 has on many different models, called kangarooing.

Wiper blade not touching the glass
If it wipes well, why would you care how it stands in the bottom most curved part of the windshield ?

Rear calipers. Red paint flaking off.
I have so much older car then yours and it is my daily driver for nearly 6 years. All calipers are red like the car was delivered yesterday. Be persistent!

Xtreme alloys
Very nice ride on PS4S on Xtremes in comfort DCC. Much better then P Zero, and incomparable better and stronger tire. We also have challenges on our roads, but quite manageable.

For your particular car, black only. There is nothing grayish on this car, it's green and a lot of glossy black so you need black xtremes to match. To prove that anthracite is wrong, I have a winter set with anthracite and aluminium 18" dual colour from FR, and while they look perfect separated, while on the car, I see should have been black... 😞 What I did with my kids last winter, all black dip and it's better. What a waste of money refurbishing those wheels in anthracite all way properly, as they look better dipped.

Change of bumper to RS and headlights to xenon-led
Are you sure more things aren’t missing? Headlight leveling, for example, has sensors on the suspension.

Octavia road noise - is really that bad ??
Bigger performance wheels are noisy, especially under 25C outside temperature - which I suppose you have most of the time in the island. I switch to winter set when driving becomes unbearable, and that's way before it starts snowing in Serbia. Winter set is quiet.

Sun roof rattle/creaking 🥴
It's a feature. Maybe waxing rubber with something will reduce.

Drive mode select or DCC? .... that is the q
Please record several short clips for us. You can merge them and upload to YouTube. Thank you a lot, I am really curious.

Drive mode select or DCC? .... that is the q
Dampers are probably same, but springs aren't, and their calibration might be different. DCC is always active and adjusting each of dampers beyond the chosen setting to keep the chassis as stable as possible. It's one of the best options you can choose for Octa.

VRS 2015 Losing Coolant
Definitely, or they seal it differently when assembling it, mine was little leaking from the start, and now in its 5th and 6th year of life it does not.

Do I need to service the air-conditioning to keep my warranty?
Never heard of a mandatory a/c servicing for any normal passenger car.

Wheel spacers
O3 PreFL fits 20mm adapter on the back, my setup, with ET51 19" rim. It is attached to the hub with its own bolts. Pros is you don't touch it anymore and use OEM bolts. For spacer you need longer bolts, which can be the issue for security bolts. It fits perfectly fine as FL is +19mm.

Amundsen Mib2 Map Updates 2023
You're right, it's 1810. Haven't paid attention as they've put two roundabouts built up since last update in 2021, so I'm happy. Is VW really updating each month?

Tyres for RS...
PS4S is a wonderful tire. It believe it is not nearly warm enough in the UK for them to have proper grip, unless you take them to a track day. Top segment is so close that it is likely you will not be happy with either under these conditions.
