Though I use this App for my current Superb Estate Mk3 (TDI190 4x4 DSG6), I didn't think about it. 🙄😄 My average is 7.16l/100km (~39.5 mpg) over 123000km with my Mk3. I've just had a look for RS TDI240, its average is between 7.7 to 8.6l/100km (36.7 to 32.8 mpg). I think it should mean around 8.1 (34.4) for me... Just a bit curious, I've looked at TSI245, it would be more about 9,5l/100km (29,7 mpg) I've made some search, it seems TDI RS was not sold in France after 2020. 😑 I'm hesitating to downgrade my spec to a TDI200 to still have a car which is less than 2 y.o. 🤔 Decision, decision...

Yes it does. Just a question: How old is your battery? An old battery can mess this. I've seen it on the Mk3 of a friend. She couldn't adjust her passenger mirror, it was moving in opposite directions compared to joystick demand and could not dip upon reverse either.

Does a rubber tunnel cover also exist for Kodiaq, as for Superb Mk3 ? I have one in my Superb, it's great, especially with 3 kids.

Thanks for this information, I didn't know that TDI240 was not manufactured these last 3 years (at least). On the french market, it may be different. Not sure that Skoda has sold more TSI RS than TDI RS... 🤔 But you nevertheless may be right. Gasoline cars had better sales score than diesel ones these last years...

I think this is the kind of argument that could tip the balance in favour of TDI. The hardest thing is to find one on the french second hand market. It's quite rare...

I think there're 2 possibility: - Latch (to keep it in stow position) gets stuck. - Rotation axle of the hook itself... May be you can try to use some anti-humidity spray, because based on your sayings, I think there some water drops caused by humidity, which freeze and make your hook stuck. I don't think it's gripped, otherwise it wouldn't move as expected once it gets a bit warmer.

I wouldn't mix All-season with summer tyres too. it's a bad idea. Here's a demo: Having a 4x4 shouldn't make a big difference on the conclusion, I guess...

Hi all, Currently owning a Superb Mk3 Estate (MY 2017 TDI190 DSG6 4x4 in L&K trim), I'm tempted to replace it by a Kodiaq RS MY2021 or younger. Could some RS owners tell me what kind of fuel consumption that have? I'm not fixed yet whether a TSI245 or a TDI240. Thus information on both engines are welcomed. Of course, I know fuel consumption highly depends on driving style and trips kind. It's just to have a rough order of magnitude. My driving style is neither eco-mode addict nor 'lead sole' mode. I drive gently 95-98% of the time, and sometime put my right foot down. Additional question, what is the fuel tank capacity on a Kodiaq RS? I'd like to assess if a 600km trip can be done without refueling in between. Thanks for your answers.

Good choice that changing from 68Ah to 70Ah. I did it too. 10 years old is a good performance though! But... Maybe your Mk3 has the chance to "sleep" in a garage?... Back to your question: changing the serial number via VCDS is only a way to warn the battery management system that it has been replaced. A more important point, is to change the autonomy parameter and set it to 70 Ah instead of the original 68 Ah, otherwise it won't take into account that your new battery has a larger autonomy and the battery management system may consider it's fully loaded, whereas it is not. These 2 mods are only a 10-minute job via VCDS.

Hi @47Sportline, You may be right. But if I remember well, I think I also made a test with right rear fog lamp block disassembled and plugged, directly on a 12V battery. I've switched to something since else since that time, considering it would not work. I will most probably reconsider activating my right rear fog lamp. 😁

Hi, I've also a rear dashcam. Unfortunately, you can't remove the top trim without removing the bottom trim. The bottom trim is just clipped, whereas the the top trim has 2 screws (Torx 25, as far as I remember) at both ends, hidden by the bottom trim. The rest of the top trim is just clipped on top and on both sides. It doesn't take long to remove the bottom trim. You just have to pay attention to remove both lights and the open/close button before pulling hard to unclip it. 😉 But to clip both top and bottom trim back in place (especially bottom one), it's better to be helped by someone, otherwise it's a PITA. Both trims are quite flexible, thus if you're alone you can clip one side, try to clip the other side and first side then falls down. This can "play" a looong time with your nerves... 😤😉

Then made 2nd and 3rd layers with clear coat. It's hard to see where they were now.
