  1. A clever way to land on their feet without paying. Customer satisfaction? Who cares... If it get worse, I wonder whether completely ripping the rubber seal off and replace it by one of these seals that you can easliy find on amazon could do the job. Below an example of seal I'm referring to. Hard part of the job would be to fin a shape that matches the original one... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rubber-Sealing-Windshield-Weather-Sliding/dp/B0DJR9L78M/ref=sr_1_10?crid=IVD5A70Q1A2C&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.A-HlYesCU_WVjcP2kr5eO_M3SV6RRP62O246o2zmZkUXmTzTDj2EIGN9ngNEn-ZdAby8fstLQf9mKJaMZ7u1P0SgjRMuCAOoCFJnPhTayMqky7ADBOr09vC3BmcUdCwU5j6OKU8Cozcnmo5xbJRQ6p4RkMSXi6BDyTGFjCcTFv1dbe-m-Foxnf8kNq2-R3btffiYLSX5E7wcPItqRsXuDB6sfrfHHn0kCWQyeJBnvuM.xLE3v-CX04mEL2yEtyqf5LI7s6cvYYSB2I_A_p6Sn-I&dib_tag=se&keywords=car+rubber+seal&qid=1744265639&sprefix=car+rubber+seal%2Caps%2C82&sr=8-10
  2. Hi, Just curious. What does the 5Q0 have, that 2Q0 hasn't ? Nice job!
  3. I didn't know that Lava Blue already existed for Mk2s... šŸ¤”
  4. It won't indeed. It was one of the points my local dealer strongly insisted on, when I took delivery of my Superb Mk3
  5. Yes, they are the standard L&K 18" wheels. Also standard on L&K Octy 3 (may be not 18" as standard. I can't remember).
  6. Hi, After engine run I think I added around 100-150ml exactly as you did. The total volume was approximately 750-800ml too. I spilled a bit of oil when topping up until overfilling.
  7. Hi, The today to do... done list on my TDI190 4x4 at 135000km on the clock: Engine oil + oil filter changed Cabin filter changed Fuel filter changed Haldex oil changed Haldex pump strainer cleaned. The strainer was quite covered with a kind of marmelade... It's the 3rd time I clean it (previously done at 45000 and 90000km), but the 1st time I've seen this kind of film looking like a thin piece of paper. But it was indeed nothing but this kind of marmelade... Strange... Coming soon: swapping for 19" summer wheels and deep clean to sell it (if I can find one to replace it 😐)...
  8. Hi, I've changed my Haldex oil today. I tried to follow this way of priming the Haldex pump. But I didn't find any menu to test Haldex pump in the 22-AWD control unit, though I've updated my VCDS software this morning with 25.3 version. Thus I did it the simple way: run the engine, let idle for few minutes, stop and then top up. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  9. Hi, With a MY19 Kodiaq, I can't remember if the rear blinkers are splitted on both the boot and the rear wings. If they are, then all what you may be able to do (with a genuine cable šŸ˜‰) is to activate rear blinkers in opposite phases for both parts on each side. I've no idea of how to do it, but I remember I've seen this on a Golf Mk6 or Mk7 on YouTube. May be someone played with a Superb Mk3 estate too and set this mode but using tail lights as blinkers as in the US. But I don't think it is street legal in Europe (whatever the country).
  10. Hi, I went down to 1000km left on an Audi Q3 Mk1 TDI150. Never experienced any problem. Since it was a MY2015, it didn't display the AdBlue autonomy, except when only 2000 km left. I went down to 500km left on my current Superb Mk3 TDI190 (My2017), usually I top up when 1000-1500km left. Never faced a problem with it. Audi Q3 AdBlue tank is roughly 12l, whereas Superb Mk3's one is around 14l.
  11. I think you've forgotten ApertureS. The master bot! 😁
  12. Who ? Me ? Well... Let's wait for @rowanw to make some investigations and confirm (or not) my sayings... Then we'll know if I was right... šŸ˜‰
  13. Hi, There should be a wire issue indeed. If the locking motor has a short circuit to + in your passenger door, it can't operate as expected. This may be the cause of your problem. Then, the other code may be a result of the previous one : Regarding the Lane assist system : Check the blinker in your mirror. The lamp may need to be replaced, or there could be some rust causing this short to ground. Considering the Lane Assist deactivates each time you move the blinker stalk, this may be a reason why it doesn't work...
  14. Hi, To me Haldex Service is every 3 years, whatever the mileage. Never heard of / read about this reduction to 2 years. But I have to say I've never been to the dealer for this operation on my Superb Mk3 (MY17). I do it myself every 45000km, since I consider a mileage interval makes more sense than a time interval. I'm about to do it these days (now 135000km on the clock) and I do remove the Haldex pump to clean the strainer... Just for info (note how dirty the strainer is after only 45000km, though my Haldex is probably not the most used): Reducing the Haldex interval to 2 years could make sense, but it dealers still don't clean the strainer, it shouldn't bring that much, except money in ther pocket...
  15. Hi, That's right. 210000km is the VAG recommandation on TDI190 for your MY2017 (I have the same engine, same MY). There's no time limitation. However some dealers recommend to replace it after 7-8 years, if you don't drive that much... On my side, I had it replaced at 62000km and 3.5 years because of coolant pump issue. Pump has been replaced under extra warranty (on known issue causing overheating)) and I took the opportunity to replace it at the same time. My TDI190 has now 135000km on the clock.
  16. Hi, If you mean the chrome trim around the rear window between rear door and the boot, it only comes with the window itself if you want an OEM one.
  17. Hi 17" rims DO increase confort. I have currently 17" rims as winter wheels and my Skoda Superb Mk3 Estate is more comfy than it is with its 19" summer wheels. The drawback is that steering loses a bit of its sharpness in tight turns if you you want to speed up a bit the pace... But in winter conditions, it's rarely the period to speed up... ;) 18" rims may be a good compromise, if you don't want to have 2 sets of rims.
  18. Saw tooth is a well known issue on VAG cars though. Workshop manual then recommends swapping front Ā“b rear tyres. Noise should decreasing within 500-1000m. If it doesn’t, manual then recommends swapping FL-FR tyres and drive for another 500-1000km.
  19. Hi, Well, unless a withdrawn one from a wreck Superb, I've no idea. It's actually the kind of part, that last the life of the vehicle, thus not common to find the the second hand market... Do you have an idea, why it started failing ? It's quite rare, apart confusion between rear diff and Haldex drain plugs 😬...
  20. Back from a ski trip in our French Alps, I made a quick clean (Karcher only at the local car wash) to my Estate this morning, before removing the roof box. I took this pic, 'cause I find this black & white combo has a bit of star wars Storm troopers… 😁 Still 1200-ish km to drive before the 135000km overhaul. Plan is to : - Change engine oil + filter - Change fuel filter (every 45000km instead of 90000 as recommended) - Change Haldex oil and clean gauge (every 45000km too, since easier than the 3 years to remind for me. Also allows an earlier replacement due to my annual mileage). - Swap winter / summer wheels. Then it will need a deep inside and outside cleaning to be ready for sale...
  21. AFAIK, there is no DQ200 anymore on MY2023...šŸ¤”
  22. Also got mines from Kopacek. Still in place 7 years later. They really do a good job. It doesn't prevent the car from being dirty behind front or rear wheels. But at least it stops mud projections or stone chips. Only thin dust can then stick to the "side skirt" or the rear bumper. AFAIK @JR RS šŸ‘‹ has non OEM ones, which are a bit shorter compared to OEM. But I can't remember where he got them šŸ¤”.
  23. I agree. From a buyer point of view, I would ask myself how long it may last on the car I intend to buy. Considering a brand new one hardly exceeds 40km when it’s cold. IĀ“m wondering what kind of autonomy can be expected with a 7-8 year old car… That’s the point I was raising…
  24. @Chris98 I think youĀ“ve made the right choice. Another argue : selling an iV in a couple of years may be hard, since autonomy of the battery will have decreased an its technology will probably outdated…
  25. Yes they do. It’s more or less What I did. But it was so mucky. That itĀ“s not perfectly clean. It’s not like good hand wash with 2 buckets.
