  1. Hi, I've also a rear dashcam. Unfortunately, you can't remove the top trim without removing the bottom trim. The bottom trim is just clipped, whereas the the top trim has 2 screws (Torx 25, as far as I remember) at both ends, hidden by the bottom trim. The rest of the top trim is just clipped on top and on both sides. It doesn't take long to remove the bottom trim. You just have to pay attention to remove both lights and the open/close button before pulling hard to unclip it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But to clip both top and bottom trim back in place (especially bottom one), it's better to be helped by someone, otherwise it's a PITA. Both trims are quite flexible, thus if you're alone you can clip one side, try to clip the other side and first side then falls down. This can "play" a looong time with your nerves... ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. Hi, This can make a great job, without without an ugly smashed slice of pudding: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284605363473?_skw=fine+line+painting+pen&itmmeta=01J88QCN0M6NSFMVR2YAE0QWNT&hash=item4243cd3511:g:RGoAAOSw1B9hlGup&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlbzCYGub7oa2pdIvWd7HhND2xW15Flf64gTwJjgh8jdZCyHjMCNtYhLd6HzrVmYbpmZ%2F2ckyUeAhd1uPJdxt2MTL4Kkom54xqCQ3EcvqItptEFj3DU6pS2svHQIwmmYv7ENVWa5y9s2Z%2FLRVda3zOogftfzQSOC80CPfXws4%2B6eqY8ovIcC2KWrEeke5VGT2KOZyZfIYa6DsYSRbcNuVT70E5BqdqDkUq491MUa9wS9WnXc6Sbcu6Foehob5Fevv7kl4kzCAGj7%2BE%2B9Gpw8CaTZbQvmAgicipQKDYd5T0F4Q%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMsNCyl8Jk&edge=0 I bought a touch up pen corresponding to my paint code, to get the right colour and then used this tool to refill very fine stone chips on my bonnet. Then made 2nd and 3rd layers with clear coat. It's hard to see where they were now.
  3. HI, Do you mean, your right lamp only stop working when corner lights function is activated?
  4. Nice feature to avoid the boot closing on you back when you inadvertently trigger the virtual pedal with your feet. ๐Ÿ‘
  5. Never read that fuel filter had to be changed on petrol engine. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  6. Almost as tidy as an AMG engine bay !๐Ÿ˜
  7. Hi, I've always heard about the 3-year time limit. Never read any mileage limit regarding Haldex servicing. Where did you catch this information? I know you regularly refer to official Skoda recommendations, thus it'd be cool if you could share the source of this mileage limit from an official reference. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Note: I think the lack of mileage limit is a non sense, and I do replace Haldex oil every 45000km (roughly similar to the 30000 miles you mention) on my Mk3. They're done in less than 3 years in my case. It would then mean I'm fully compliant to Skoda recommendations. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. Thanks for sharing. Do you work in the chemical industry and maybe detergents in particular?
  9. I faced this problem on my wife's former Audi Q3 too (though with a manual gearbox). Very annoying and even dangerous when entering in a roundabout. But I never faced that with my Mk3...
  10. Hi, Sorry, since everything works properly again, I did not take time to scan and check what kind of DTC still remain. I will do so and share within the week-end.
  11. Don't forget, your Mk3 still has an umbrella like a Rolls. ๐Ÿ˜„ Covering with adhesive film maybe another solution?
  12. It seems it confirms what I was saying... Jeremy Clarkson / Top Gear approved... ๐Ÿคฃ
  13. This one is an RS3 + DQ500 Engine swap... ๐Ÿ˜ Just Insane! Could be Jeremy Clarkson approved! ๐Ÿ˜„
  14. It's in the LCD display between tachometer and revometer. Jus scroll the righ button on the MFSW. You'll see "AdBlue autonomy".
  15. Nice and classy upgrade ! Also much easier to clean! No dust in the small gaps around buttons anymore.
  16. I also surf on a french Skoda forum. But no Superb owner complains about rear discs wear as on Briskodaโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ This I assume your point on climate is quite consistent. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. I would say approximately 3"... Already a long time ago I did it...๐Ÿค”
  18. I've fixed mine on the boot trim: With a slight mod to give it an OEM look (using an OEM inside review mirror trim) :
  19. I think this is the point. 122000 km on the clock on mine. I only changed the rear brake pads 5000 km ago. Front brakes and rear brake discs are still original ones. We sold my wife's Audi Q3 at the end of july, it had 166000 km on the clock and still its complete original brakes and pads...
  20. If not too late, this may help you :
  21. Or maybe it's the dealer... Even your car and the courtesy VW one don't want to get there to quick and slow down! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Sorry, an easy one... ๐Ÿ˜ It happens sometimes on mine too. But fortunately for me, it's only a question of wrong speed diplayed by the TSR. Brakes are not coupled to TSR on mine.
  22. Don't presume, be sure! Open the bonnet and check. It will be safer than risking an overtemp....
  23. Just scroll on the right button of MFSW, you ยดll see an ยดAdBlue Autonomyโ€™ menu. Just click to see how much you can refill.
  24. Don't forget to come back here and tell if it worked or not...
  25. Thanks @leolito. I'm not 'rejecting' all Mk3, but just mine which faced several problems, that turned my overall satisfaction to a subtil "fuzzy foggy grey" ๐Ÿ˜... I'm still convinced Mk3 is a good car, but may be I've got a bad "not that good" number... Regarding what you describe as 'entering into madness territory', SWMBO fortunately agrees this project. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿคฃ
