  1. Then it may depend on trim level…
  2. These openings do have « doors » on Estate version. I don’t know why this is not fitted on hatchback. 🤔
  3. Mine is a MY18 TDI190. TDI200 were proposed on FL versions in France.
  4. Hi, Did you have a look on the wiki.ross-tech, to see what they suggest as possible causes and solutions for the DTC which raised thru your VCDS scan? Without having a look to the wiki.ross-tech myself, I would think the microphone hasn’t been plugged back. This would be consistent with the default code pointing a « No communication with microphone control unit ». Other possiblity, if you own an official VCDS version from Ross-Tech, you can ask for some support on their forum (also an english forum, sorry). I am French too, you can PM me if you want.
  5. The crazy taxes on « sports cars » in France since 2019 killed the TSI280 here. There is NO TSI280 MY19 or onward on the second hand market. Thus, it’s hard to decide changing for a TSI280 that is only 1 year less than mine… Only possibility would be to import one from Germany were they are more numerous. But special taxe would still be applicable, though a bit decreased depending on car age… Hard decision… Other possibility that I am thinking about: Change my Mk3 for a « reasonable » daily and buy an old car. Maybe a Triumph TR4 or even more « crazy », to still get fun with a car.
  6. This seems to be the Mk4 size. The Mk3 boot is « only » 660l (less is iV version).
  7. Bad joke today: €32-ish of additional custom taxes 😮. Fortunately, it’s still less expensive than the first one I ordered and for whom I was refunded.
  8. I would be tempted to keep my Mk3 too… If I did not have to face several significant problems over its 120000 km and 7 years on the clock: - Coolant pump - Front shock absorbers (DCC ones) - Sunroof seal All representing a total of unscheduled €2800 repair costs… Not mentionning all what I repaired myself, including an unexpected coding loss on Blind Spots detection and Rear Trafic Alert, which has come back again. But I can’t solve it this time. I fear how much my local dealer is going to ask to fix it Partilly disappointed by my Mk3 reliability compared to my former Mk2. Not sure the next one will be a Skoda (though reliability is not way better with other brands).
  9. Mine will be 7 years old by the end of 2024 and I´m thinking about to replace it. But prices for brand new car have become crazy (in France)… I’ve specced Superb Estate Mk4 L&K, Arteon Estate, VW Passat Estate, ID7 Tourer (just to have an idea) but all come between €64000 to &71000 😳 OMG ! It’s getting crazy! I think I may look a 2021-2022 second hand car…
  10. Maybe you can check OEM references on ifinterface.com Just select 2 MY (before and after facelift) and check If both references are the same or not. Then you´ll know
  11. I've been granted a 97 score 2 weeks ago 😃, with a brillant average consumption of... 12.6 l/100km 🙄🙃! Over 5km, I to say... I don't pay attention to the score anymore...
  12. I didn't let it longer than previous times in the 'barrel' though!... And no double or triple wood finish either... 😁
  13. Have changed the brake fluid for the third time of my Mk3’s life today. I was quite surprised to get a much darker fluid than 2 other times… I can’t explain it to myself… Note: 1st time @2,5 years old. And then every 2 years.
  14. Sorry for my ignorance, what do you mean by AID?
  15. Lucky you! It seems TSI 265 won't be sold in France or... very rarely, since there's a strong lobby against CO2 emission, which granted MK3 TSI280 a remarkable €40000 tax (while the car was sold ~€65000) for instance! 🤯 All middle range sports cars such as GTI, Megane RS, Audi S3, Toyota GR86, etc. are now 'dead'. Some are even withdrawn from the catalog. This silly measure has suddenly increased the 2nd hand market prices, with prices higher price than brand new cars for those, which are less than 2 years old. Complete non sense... As a matter of fact, sellers want to take a part of this silly tax back... Politician will soon cry that the automotive park is getting older and is then less safe...
  16. Maybe they're simply incorrectly painted... Since P/N and colour don't match.
  17. Do you intend to wait for Superb Mk5? 😁 For instance, the dashboard remained the same when the Mk3 has been facelifted...
  18. Hi, Take a look on wiki.ross-tech.com You should find them as well as possible causes and solutions.
  19. Do you have only one P/N (for black) on the back of the Spoke? Anyway, I don’t really undrestand what’s your issue if you have these from new, there is now way they can’t be Skoda wheels. They exist in 3 colors. If you need the OEM P/N for Silver ones, you have it previous posts. 🤷‍♂️
  20. It will only be possible with Superb Mk4 and Passat B9, since they share the same plateforme and only front and rear differ...
  21. I think you're right, since one of the noticeable things in the Mk4's design is that door handles are now along the edge of the car's body line as on pictures below: I don't think Skoda would make different design on this point, only for the VRS version...
  22. I think Michelin PS4 would be more consistent with a TSI280. IMHO Primacy would better fit to TSI150 / TDI150 versions.
  23. Sorry, MFSW = Multi Function Steering Wheel.
  24. I agree. In particular, I don't like the current trend with lettering instead of brand logo. Additionally, I think there's something wrong with the rear lights shape for my taste. Former ones with sharper inner end give a better design with more character... For your second point, maybe this can be tuned with VCDS? For the third one, Mk3 already had the nanny alert you're mentioning. Isn't there a way to disable it from the MFSW via a tick box as on Mk3? I liked your parkinson option. I laughed a lot.
