  1. Best tank I have managed is 626 miles but 730 is the absolute maximum on a decent length journey.
  2. Not a fan of spacers particularly if you do a bit of track day stuff as it puts extra stress on the wheel bolts and wheels when you're really pushing it. Will probably fit 245 tyres to the wider than standard rims when I wear out the current Michelins which are excellent (48mpg on a recent trip to the Lake District and over 44mpg on the whole 500 mile weekend trip).
  3. My 200kwh Superb Sportline 2019 went upto 268kwh at 6,000rpm with a stage 1 map and the torque went from 369nm at 4,500rpm to 514nm at just 2,800rpm running Shell V-Power Nitro+ which in the UK is 99 octane or the best available pump fuel (along with Tesco Momentum).
  4. Bought them 2 years ago to increase the track width of my Vrs245 as they are 8.5J wide as apposed to the 7.5J Octavia rims. Also fitted 235 tyres instead of the 225 tyres on the Vrs. They are Audi RS6 replicas but only 19". Had them repainted silver back in February and they are straight swap for the 8J x 19" Vega Sportline wheels which I have now put on the wife's Karoq SEL which had factory 18" Bragas. I like the Audi centre caps although I understand most would prefer the Skoda badges but when I am sat at traffic lights if an Audi pulls up alongside they get really confused particularly if I floor it.
  5. Cheers Colin working fine now, thanks shy.
  6. Fitted the rear tunnel mat supplied by @penguin17 FOC and after 700 miles in a week it needed a clean.
  7. Couple of photo’s from the weekend
  8. Just tried again just now still no joy for me.
  9. My 360bhp stage 1 Superb 272 insurance went down around £50 compared to my 2017 Vrs245 (stage 2 with 336bhp) and I was surprised to as the Superb accelerates much faster than the Octavia despite being heavier (thank the 4WD traction).
  10. Might be a trip to the dealer part 22 on that blow up diagram securing ring for the clutch pedal. Agree it shouldn't work loose/fall off.
  11. When I owned my Vrs245 (manual) someone posted a similar comment to you about a white nylon securing bolt and a diagram was posted possibly by @IamGaz IIRC and under the steering column I could see it on my car and I think it is attached to a rod connected to one of the pedals possibly clutch but I can't find the detailed answer given before. Hopefully someone will be able to find the diagram and post it for you.
  12. Good read has the mapping been done just wondering what power and torque it makes? Must avoid trying to overtake Red Fabia Mk2 Vrs with large black rear spoiler.
  13. Probably as Bottas was warned about over heating left front and rear tyres with all the right hand corners (also high speed corners) at Silverstone.
  14. shyVRS245 replied to Cvak's topic in Skoda Karoq
That's a very good price considering our basic (no options except Moon White metallic) SEL Karoq was £23,500 back in Jan 2018 and the new price before discount for even the SEL is close to £28,000 now and Scouts are well over £30,000 new.
  15. Thanks still learning stuff regarding DSG and how it works. Will try that on Wednesday when I go back to work.
  16. Similar story with me in 2017 I was going to wait until 1st September for a 67 plate and the dealer keen to hit August sales targets and their bonus from Skoda UK offered me another £500 off so it was registered on 17th August on a 17 plate instead. Both parties happy and makes for a good relationship in future dealings.
  17. Mercedes will be relieved with that tyre choice for Barcelona.
  18. Yeah I use the (A) autohold button at traffic lights so you leave it in drive then press to release when the lights change. Much easier.
  19. Checked under settings in the vehicle menu just now and first oil change from when it left the factory is due in 140 days or in 5,100 miles which should mean it will need a garage visit around 1 year after I bought it last December. This is a free service which is something I negotiated with the local Skoda dealer when I bought the car. Current mileage is 11,907 so that will mean an oil change around 17,000 miles which is better than I expected from the performance available with this engine.🚗
  20. Seem to have the same problem John since Saturday can't post any new photo's as the option has disappeared. Wonder whether it is linked with the change from Senior to Resident Member in my case?
  21. Hopefully the hardest 3 so 3, 4 and 5.
  22. Vettel spins on lap 1 and blames his team tactics and watches his young number one Ferrari team mate finish 4th. Forecast for Barcelona next Sunday 30C so should suit RBR again if the Merc continue with tyre management.
  23. Congrats to Honda, RBR and Max stunning tactics from qualifying 2 and the Mercs eating these softer tyres with their power advantage turning into a disadvantage. Lewis extends his lead in the Championship over Bottas his main rival to 34 points.
  24. Max looks favourite to win with 16 laps to go after going long on Hards, short on Medium (8 laps) and Hard to the end. Looks like Lewis gambling on hanging on until the end.......again.......hmmmmmm.
