  1. Best way to tell really is to poke it, if you see like creases then it’s leather. Looking at your pictures, the thin strip around the seats will be leather, headrest, strip under the headrest and the armrest. When I clean my seats I use Gliptone, smells like you’ve fisted a cow afterwards though (leather smell not poop). I use it on all of my seats which is more real leather than not (backs and side fake stuff) https://gliptoneeurope.com/product/leather-conditioner/ https://gliptoneeurope.com/product/intensive-cleaner/
  2. If you got vcds obd11, you can always change the throttle setting to Audi mode Worth a shot and free to try if you already got the kit
  3. £420 for all 4 seems good enough to me tbh I’m not sure how they they refurb them, I guess strip it all, powder coat it all then finish the fronts off with a diamond cut the rim and front. I wonder if you can ask nicely and get them to ceramic coat them before you pick them up as I believe that takes like 24-48 hours to cure then should be good for many years After that powder coat all the way
  4. They are diamond cut, looks nice but can get the worm effect too annoyingly. Others here have just had them powder coated but I personally love the diamond cut look as it looks a more better quality finish, but you get the worm problems and limited amount they can be recut
  5. Something like this should do but probably other videos about showing Skoda but should be the same https://youtu.be/4OO971IRn9g?feature=shared
  6. Still looks bad but not as worse, but judging by the rust on the disc hub I guess the drivers side sees more rain when parked? If I were you I’d change them, if you don’t have vcds etc then you’ll need to buy it or get a garage to do them as the caliper piston has to be electrically retracted. I put brembo discs on my car and OEM pads because that’s the least my local Skoda dealer would do When I do my fronts myself I’ll go brembo discs and ate ceramics The brembo discs are just the basic ones but have a painted coating on the hub part so don’t rust
  7. The top part has a cover but not the bottom part, which is easily seen when the wheel arch liner is removed, VW probably thought the liner is a good enough cover
  8. Car passed MOT, grand total of 2819miles between MOT’s Last year I had bang on 2k miles between MOTs 😂
  9. It’s very common; however your passenger side should look similar, if it doesn’t then that’s not common at all and could be a number of things. The brake dust shield going crappy is common too but a much bigger job than it needs to be in replacing the rears, it’s on my to do list of using something like kororust and some hammerite black paint to go round the edges (done the same on my wife’s fiat 500 rear drums and held up nicely the last 4 years. Upload a picture of your passenger side too to compared
  10. @travs My MOT is Friday too as everyone’s happy on a Friday, another extra on making it pass Tbh nothing wrong with my car and only driven it about 3k miles since last MOT 🤪
  11. Cleaned it for the MOT as obviously a clean car automatically means pass
  12. Do you have auto on? If so you get different temps from the vents or not on at all. Bit like mine if I have it on auto I get warmer side vents compared to the ones above centre screen, taking it out of auto and pressing the forward only vents “fixes” it, but auto gets the whole car to your desired temperature quicker
  13. Do you mean euro6d? I didn’t think euro 7 exists yet?
  14. They are activated by pressure I believe, so maybe the valve has failed
  15. Is it not mirrorlink you use? So your phone screen (almost) is on the car screen? I’ve not used it in a while but I believe your phone needs the Skoda app, so might be worth removing that and reinstalling https://www.sinclairgroup.co.uk/news/how-to-activate-skoda-smartlink/ scroll down and it says how to connect using mirrorlink
  16. Someone fixed this recently, can’t remember who but just needed silicone spray somewhere in the vents to relube it
  17. It’s just doing its thing because of colder temperatures, basically they made it too efficient. Nothing to worry about
  18. I bought 10vin vcds as well, so I kept putting it off as it’s hardly cheap but then I have a habit of not spending money
  19. Changed my battery today, got the expected errors on dash so full lock left, full lock right then centered, all errors went but I did have “error stop start” so went for a mini drive, turned the car off then it disappeared. Everything else works and didn’t lose anything maybe trip counter but I rarely ever look at that. Car starting is so smooth now, I thought my engine mounts were going because it felt quite violent Basically wish I’d done it sooner
  20. I don’t have Canton, just normal which is fine for me, but if you’re playing via Bluetooth have a look at the Bluetooth audio is set to “loud” or “high” When I first got my car it sounded crap then changed that setting and all good, as yours is 2015 I’d imagine that’s been changed by now though
  21. At the very minimum the serial number (BEM code, which aftermarket batteries won’t have) needs changing so the car knows it’s a new battery, but I’ll do the lot and the ah most likely 68 to 70 if you have agm
  22. I’m literally doing mine on Saturday, battery was cheap enough but VCDS was £299 (10 car vin) But as my cars getting on now and no plans of getting rid, VCDS will come handy going forward. I can let you know if I lose anything but I’m only suspecting trip counter tbh, if there’s anything else it’s easy to set back up again anyway
  23. I replied saying I’ll change it next time I get 12v, I lied a little as it’s done it a few times since. Happened today so I’ve ordered a 10vin vcds (can finally use that to get tmc working again too woohoo) Also new Varta AGM A7 battery ordered So my battery has lasted longer than I thought and if I used my car properly could have lasted longer (only use it once a week for around 8 miles) Car was registered in April 2016 so battery probably at least from late 2015/early 2016, so almost 9 years old not too bad
  24. I wish there was some indication because then I’d drive a little further. Only way I can tell is auto gears hold longer and revs higher than normal, time I’ve noticed I’m usually just about to get on my drive 🤦
