  1. Hello, just to confirm that you have an adaptor to put your microsd card into one of these (top of picture) I’m guessing your 512GB micro SD is like the bottom one, but you’ll need to insert that into the top picture
  2. Ah so the Skoda card is no good. 512GB will be too big to format (completely wipe) to change it to FAT32 like Skoda asks for however the drive I use is formatted to NTFS which always works so we can certainly try it. If the above makes no sense don’t worry. Please makes sure whatever is on your 512GB card is copied somewhere as tomorrow you’ll be completely wiping it and lose anything on it. In the meantime go to your car tomorrow and look at the windscreen bottom right you’ll see your vin number, write this down or take a photo of it (don’t post it here, no need) but you’ll need this tomorrow Depending on my workload tomorrow at work I will write the guide at some point
  3. Where you saw it has 14.8GB free, it should say something like 14.8GB free of XXGB It’ll say total size when you right click and select properties, you can take a picture from your phone and upload it here. Tomorrow I’ll make the guide for you Here’s an example
  4. Oh great stuff, plug the Skoda SD card into the adaptor then plug into your laptop Go to Computer and you’ll see the SD card there, can you see what size it is? Should say below the card in Computer, if not right click the card and click on properties then let me know the size, hopefully it’s around 32GB
  5. Thanks, so your laptop does not have an SD card slot. If you don’t have something like this already you’ll need to buy one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jiasoval-2-0-Card-Reader-SD-Black/dp/B07S2Z8Y31/ref=asc_df_B07S2Z8Y31?mcid=369ff21bec0a3eed9403595e9cbbc59c&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696386561224&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1524839333522385496&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9199185&hvtargid=pla-813533712854&psc=1&gad_source=1#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div As I’m not sure what size the Skoda card you pictured is, it’s best to buy this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultra-HD-Video-Premium-Memory-Integral/dp/B07FB7NQF7/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=2HOSZF27PJZB2&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.6AbWHkR_OS00jFOLQugllw7EqzhT7qFlwffybTydWmNQttQUuTZbyZDoiCgCPJekq0l49OTYJLd9ceaPhwT_67rFBk3bf2eIoecR5rSM1kXCXN2aImfGC4v_7icF3upuc0kVsEvC1gtD93t4F4Pevef8mGJrGxaGsSUcV4V1nanmiHXT7YyP8hoLnn53Etzp0JepJzVQAYVzEKgMxLpnaA.OTSMKKAaHIX516eVxkk1VGR9jCyuAQGdwvfdVHiDQFs&dib_tag=se&keywords=64gb+sd+card&qid=1741541788&sprefix=64gb+sd+card%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1 Then on your laptop you’ll plug the top item into number 2,5 or 7 Once you’ve got that lot delivered, let me know and I’ll write the guide up
  6. Can you find the model number? Usually under the bottom If it has an SD card slot then I won’t need to go that in detail Does your current SD card look like the top one
  7. I can write a detailed step by step if you like? My profession is IT so I always write guides for things for various abilities. Whats the make and model of your pc/laptop and is it Windows?
  8. It says for normal smooth discs, ie non drilled/grooves but only for maximum comfort
  9. Have a look in the manual, it’s by design and you won’t be able to ignore “Personal data Personal customer data is collected, processed and used by Škoda Auto in accordance with the generally binding legal provisions. Localisation services include, for example, information about the last parking position, notifications about leaving an area or speeding notifications. 10. I bet that was quite a sickening experience but glad it’s all worked, far braver than I am
  11. I’m happy with ATE ceramics, just make sure you fit them the correct way (goes for most pads these days, they’ll be a small arrow or crescent moon shape) But I’ve not actually put the ceramics on my car, only my wifes Fiat 500, but a friend of mine has them on his beemer, drives like a loon and still clean wheels and excellent braking. It’s what I’ll be fitting on mine when needed
  12. That sounds more like a security notification, who exactly are you sharing your location with? 100% I’d turn it off
  13. I thought DSG gearbox oil + filter is every 40k miles where applicable and not every 80k?
  14. Best way to tell really is to poke it, if you see like creases then it’s leather. Looking at your pictures, the thin strip around the seats will be leather, headrest, strip under the headrest and the armrest. When I clean my seats I use Gliptone, smells like you’ve fisted a cow afterwards though (leather smell not poop). I use it on all of my seats which is more real leather than not (backs and side fake stuff) https://gliptoneeurope.com/product/leather-conditioner/ https://gliptoneeurope.com/product/intensive-cleaner/
  15. If you got vcds obd11, you can always change the throttle setting to Audi mode Worth a shot and free to try if you already got the kit
  16. £420 for all 4 seems good enough to me tbh I’m not sure how they they refurb them, I guess strip it all, powder coat it all then finish the fronts off with a diamond cut the rim and front. I wonder if you can ask nicely and get them to ceramic coat them before you pick them up as I believe that takes like 24-48 hours to cure then should be good for many years After that powder coat all the way
  17. They are diamond cut, looks nice but can get the worm effect too annoyingly. Others here have just had them powder coated but I personally love the diamond cut look as it looks a more better quality finish, but you get the worm problems and limited amount they can be recut
  18. Something like this should do but probably other videos about showing Skoda but should be the same https://youtu.be/4OO971IRn9g?feature=shared
  19. Still looks bad but not as worse, but judging by the rust on the disc hub I guess the drivers side sees more rain when parked? If I were you I’d change them, if you don’t have vcds etc then you’ll need to buy it or get a garage to do them as the caliper piston has to be electrically retracted. I put brembo discs on my car and OEM pads because that’s the least my local Skoda dealer would do When I do my fronts myself I’ll go brembo discs and ate ceramics The brembo discs are just the basic ones but have a painted coating on the hub part so don’t rust
  20. The top part has a cover but not the bottom part, which is easily seen when the wheel arch liner is removed, VW probably thought the liner is a good enough cover
  21. Car passed MOT, grand total of 2819miles between MOT’s Last year I had bang on 2k miles between MOTs 😂
  22. It’s very common; however your passenger side should look similar, if it doesn’t then that’s not common at all and could be a number of things. The brake dust shield going crappy is common too but a much bigger job than it needs to be in replacing the rears, it’s on my to do list of using something like kororust and some hammerite black paint to go round the edges (done the same on my wife’s fiat 500 rear drums and held up nicely the last 4 years. Upload a picture of your passenger side too to compared
  23. @travs My MOT is Friday too as everyone’s happy on a Friday, another extra on making it pass Tbh nothing wrong with my car and only driven it about 3k miles since last MOT 🤪
  24. Cleaned it for the MOT as obviously a clean car automatically means pass
  25. Do you have auto on? If so you get different temps from the vents or not on at all. Bit like mine if I have it on auto I get warmer side vents compared to the ones above centre screen, taking it out of auto and pressing the forward only vents “fixes” it, but auto gets the whole car to your desired temperature quicker
