  1. If you want to remain legal then leds no go, I manually adjusted my headlights with the screw and much better, I’ve also got osram nbl laser, there’s a newer version now which is brighter yet Also make sure your headlights are super clean and inside windscreen
  2. Personally I’d go with Varta (and I did), well respected and OEM for VAG and many other German cars
  3. I mean the pads directional, different company but explains thing https://www.ferodo.com/en-gb/blog/directional-brake-pads.html
  4. They’re directional, did you fit them the correct way?
  5. Hmm I’d reject it or get them to fix, I believe the battery coolant should have a pin on it to stop owners from ever opening it, so if it didn’t have that then someone’s been there before trying to fix it, gave up then p/x’d it
  6. The battery will need replacing either way at 8 years old, get a varta replacement
  7. If I had the chance I’d get the oil sucker and do it that way be super easy then and no messing about down below, but mines a diesel so filter at the bottom boo
  8. Sounds very much like a battery issue, if it’s still on original it’s time for a change for sure. I also had this now and again before changing my rear discs and pads, almost like the auto hold not disengaging quick enough but my battery was also old at the same time
  9. Exactly that and another point to make is with mit silikat the coolant was G13, which VAG no longer use which says enough The new stuff is g12evo, if you mix your g13 with g12evo expect some browning to occur but perfectly fine to mix As g12evo doesn’t have the extra silicone then technically the coolant needs flushing more often now but I’ve yet to see a schedule for this, like every 2 years 4? Not sure
  10. No idea why or how people smoke in a car, bloody grim!
  11. You’ll need to get it scanned as it’s very likely to be one of the door locks will need replacing
  12. Personally I’d get on with digitalising them to mp3, be much easier and you have a backup should the CD go funky
  13. It looks like there is a zip half way, so could only put some side up then the rear passenger being in the way should stop your doggo moving about too much It’s a shame car designers don’t think of dogs, like with that cover why isn’t there a hole for the air vents to keep the dog cool grr I think a divider might be your best option though, my dog has the whole boot to roam then when we go on holiday our back seats rammed to death but wouldn’t work for you as you’ll have someone there
  14. No need for those nasty stickers on headlights
  15. Are you trying this with a/c off and auto not selected? There’s quite a few sensors in play here and at this current climate not getting heat before 24oC sounds right but if you were to repeat this in winter I bet you’ll get heat at 19
  16. I don’t think it’s the big flap that’s making the noise it’s the other bit which is jaggerdy At least you’ve found the problem, weird as your car is new, it’s almost like that bit should have some foam over it to soften the sound Please come back here when it’s fixed and what they done to fix it, just in case it happens to others 🙏
  17. That’s the one, the reason for the cardboard underneath is to stop any crap falling down on top of the filter/area from falling into the fan Once you’ve removed that had a look around and hopefully you see something obvious The thump is an odd sound, could even be a flap issue which you can reset by following this If neither successful then get it booked in whilst it’s still in warranty
  18. Hmm, remove the pollen filter and see what’s happening Put a bit of cardboard underneath the pollen filter then pull cardboard out and filter at the same time Then have a nosey inside the fan blade underneath, sounds like something is restricting it, hopefully just a leaf Or so, have a look up too if something is there like a leaf
  19. I’m sure someone had it on here where it registered as empty but still had like 5+litres left l, fill it more and it should be fine
  20. If it’s not had cam belt changed yet it could be the water pump being crap, fairly common I believe, not so much if it’s the revised water pump part
  21. Going to be very similar to this I suspect hardest part will be removing the old one
  22. If you’ve done what gammyleg said (full lock, left and right with engine on) and no fault codes then I’d reboot the system as such Disconnect the battery and leave it for 10 minutes, plug back in and see what you get. If it’s still acting like that then it’s got to be a disconnected or damaged cable somewhere I think (but this should 100% show an error in your scanning tool)
  23. I’ve got the factory tints, which is literally just a tiny but do these shades make a noticeable difference at lowering the temperature inside?
  24. How old is the battery?
  25. Go to your local dealer, they’ll be many different part numbers for interior colours, fabric type Just go to the parts department
