  1. How much did you put in? You can overfill these i believe One of the driver menus (right cog on steering wheel) will show you how much is in there Also turn your ignition on and don’t start the car for 1minute (manual says this)
  2. Yep it’s the battery level of your phone
  3. The worst thing about coasting is the cars coasting and still catching up with slow buggers on a flat road 😂
  4. I don’t like the sound of not having the clip, there for a reason
  5. If you want very informative https://youtu.be/NqbLIJHh28Y?feature=shared Yes it’s an A6 but isn’t going to be massively different Note: a lot of pads these days are directional with arrows or crescent moons, so make sure you get them the correct way and piston side if there only one directional pointer
  6. If you’ve got OE discs then expect it, I replaced mine with brembo coated discs and OE pads but wish I went with ATE ceramics as that’s what I’ll be going with for the fronts Had my rears replaced years ago and been fine, I hardly drive my car but rear discs still look good
  7. Sadly that’s standard for OE rear discs
  8. Shouldn’t be any need to remove bumper, watch these Then this at 14:45 ish
  9. Fairly certain that’s a non genuine part, you should see the Skoda logo stamp if it’s genuine
  10. I don’t have heated windscreen but my insurance uses Autoglass and I insisted on genuine screen First two times they rocked up it was non genuine so I refused and third time it was genuine. Was great because all it cost me was £10, as it had a chip which they fixed but then I noticed it had little cracks again a few weeks later, so they replaced the whole screen I don’t have cameras either but I just said “people had issues with non genuine” as some folk on here had it replaced but glare and distortion was all wrong
  11. I wonder why the mileage is “unavailable” If I were you, I’d go back and ask for an hour or two test drive on your own and say if there’s any reason you’re not happy you’ll repay fuel back £20 or so Then if all good buy it then get a DSG oil & filter change at a Skoda dealership then live happy Btw VAG changed timing belt interval to not be based on mileage and time instead which is 10 years, so it’s due one and about £1k from a Skoda dealership (obviously cheaper elsewhere) but for your bargaining power that should knock £1k off the asking price immediately So if it’s £12500, and you like it get it for £11k, dsg oil and filter is £300 ish and timing belt another £1k
  12. What are Propus alloys? Google says Volvo so I’m confused
  13. Almost correct You need to unzip the map update zip, you’ll then see the 2 folders and one file, copy the 2 folders and one file directly onto sd card
  14. Do you actually want it? Personally I much prefer the OE style with the two mini spoilers at either end, but yours was probably removed by the previous owner If you don intend on using it I’m sure you could drop into a local body shop repair and have a word, I just imagine they’ll charge too much
  15. Go here https://tools.skoda.co.uk/book-a-service-online/#/sk-data/osb Out in your reg and select dealer, basic service should be £220 ish and Oosh that’s gone up! If you DIY, just keep the receipts if next owner wants proof
  16. Does it behave the same when using the passenger switch/drivers (passenger switch) and key fob (long press unlock, will/should open all windows) If it does then it’s an issue with the regulator and should be covered by warranty no issues and fully expect them to reimburse your diagnostic fee, which you can either confirm with local dealer or ring Skoda customer services up and confirm first
  17. Hmm that does sound like battery issue but you changed it not long ago so shouldn’t be that but I’d get the battery tested somewhere first
  18. £195 like travs said 👍
  19. You can pick up usb3 drives for peanuts these days and it’s backwards compatible
  20. Looks like top right there’s still a bit in there. Best place will be to call your local Skoda dealer Most likely this part number 3V0807834A2ZZ That is for “right” side and I can never remember if left is looking from the front of car or not
  21. New stuff is G12evo, if your car has G13 now you can mix but coolant will turn brown
  22. I suspect you will need to take the cover off from the inside then you’ll be able to disconnect power and washer line Can you see the original 3rd brake light behind? I’m hoping previous person didn’t just remove it when fitting the new one and discarded it. Be good if you have the two original mini spoilers which original has and do away with the spoiler (unless you like it)
  23. That’s rather unhelpful, like I said earlier I’d remove it personally for now until you know for sure the best way to fit correctly. If it is Skoda part then you should be able to remove it easy enough and still use original connectors and give both sides a decent clean
  24. Hmm, I wonder if previous owner installed this https://www.kopacek.com/skoda/superb-iii/superb-iii-combi-genuine-skoda-autoas-roof-spoiler-in-monte-carlo-edition-black-magic-metallic#description Looks the same/similar If it is you can email them and ask for install documents and explain the issue you have
  25. To be honest you can pull that off as it’s not a factory fitted one at all
